This is a light and refreshing beverage that is perfect for outdoor dining with friends. I used diet 7-Up soda.

zinfandel
diet lemon-lime soda
crushed ice
1 teaspoon lemon juice or 1 teaspoon lime juice

Steps:

Pour 2 ounces of wine in a pretty wine goblet filled with crushed ice. Add lemon juice. Fill the rest of the goblet with the soda.

Ingredients

1/2 cup ice cube
6 -8 ounces white wine (your favorite) or 6 -8 ounces blush wine (your favorite)
maraschino cherry, and juice
6 -8 ounces carbonated lemon-lime beverage

Steps:

in blender, chop up ice (if you already have crushed ice you can skip this step).
put into pitcher.
add in wine, soda, and 3-4 cherries and 2 tsp juice.
stir gently.
pour into your favorite wine or beverage glass (martini or marguerita glasses look great with this).
dress with a wedge of lime or lemon and a cherry.

2 lemons, zested
2 small oranges, zested (or 1 large orange, zested)
1 bottle Pinot Grigio wine
3 cups sparkling water

Steps:

In a small bowl, toss the citrus zests together. Divide the zest mixture among an empty ice cube tray, top with water and freeze for 3 to 5 hours.
In a large pitcher, combine the wine with the sparkling water and the citrus zest ice cubes. Stir and serve.
