We don't want to brag, but as far as vanilla ice cream recipes go, this one is the best. And with only four ingredients, it just might be the easiest, too. No ice cream maker? No problem. Yield 1-1/4 quarts.

Number Of Ingredients 4

Ingredients

2 cups heavy whipping cream
2 cups half-and-half cream
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Steps:

Combine all ingredients, stirring to dissolve sugar completely. Fill cylinder of ice cream maker no more than two-thirds full; freeze according to manufacturer's directions. (Refrigerate any remaining mixture until ready to freeze.) Serve immediately or store in covered containers in freezer.

Every time we have a cookout or a birthday party. I have to make this ice cream. Everyone loves it from the youngest to the oldest. It taste like a Wendys Frosty.

Ingredients

12 can(s) chocolate yohoo (12 oz. cans)
1 can(s) sweetened condensed milk
1 12 oz. carton cool whip

Steps:

1. With a wire wisk mix 2 cans of Yohoo, Sweetened Cond. milk, and Cool whip in a large bowl. Mix until smooth. try to remove all the lumps of cool whip.
2. Pour into freezer canister. Pour in remaining cans of Yohoo. This should fill your freezer. (depending on size mine is 5 qt.) Adding a little milk to fill freezer is okay.
3. put lid on canister, put in freezer. Pack with ice and salt and freeze until firm.
