- Stir the yogurt, sugar, and vanilla extract together until the sugar has dissolved. Cover. Refrigerate 1 hour.
- Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer's directions until it reaches "soft-serve" consistency. Transfer to a one- or two-quart plastic container with a lid; cover surface with plastic wrap and seal. For best results, frozen yogurt should ripen in the freezer for at least 2 hours or overnight.

- *If you don't have an ice cream maker or high-speed blender, see these directions.Whisk together all ingredients. If you have an ice cream maker, simply pour the mixture in and churn according to manufacturer's instructions for your specific machine. Or if you have a high-speed blender such as a vitamix, pour the whisked ingredients into ice cube trays and freeze, then blend the frozen cubes until smooth, using the machine's tamper to help it blend evenly. Either eat straight from the machine or freeze an hour for a firmer texture. Due to the lack of preservatives and filler ingredients, homemade ice cream is best the day it's made - however you can technically freeze for up to a month and thaw before eating.View Nutrition Facts

VANILLA BEAN ICE CREAM
Steps:
- Place Silk and Silk Creamer in a medium saucepan and whisk in honey, agave or sugar. Slice vanilla bean in half lengthwise, and use the tip of a knife to scrape the seeds from the bean into the saucepan. Add bean pod as well. Bring mixture to a simmer over medium heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and remove about 1/4 cup from the pan and whisk it together with the arrowroot in a small bowl. Whisk the arrowroot mixture back into the pan, cover and let the mixture infuse for 20 minutes. Cool completely and process in an ice cream maker according to manufacturer's instructions.NOTE: If you don't have a vanilla bean, add 2 tsp vanilla extract when removing mixture from heat. You may also add fresh fruit or any other flavorings you desire.
