Steps:
- Place butter into 12-ounce coffee mug; microwave 30-45 seconds or until melted. Add all remaining cake ingredients except sprinkles; mix well with fork. Stir in sprinkles.
- Microwave 45-60 seconds or until cake pulls away from sides and top is dry. (Do not overcook.) Cool 1 minute. Top with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, as desired. Serve warm.

YELLOW CAKE IN A MUG
Until now I've only seen chocolate cake in a mug recipes, and so I figured I'd put one up for those who just don't like chocolate. Also, this recipe can be modified and you can add in anything that you want to.

Steps:
- Mix all of the dry ingredients together.
- Now add in the milk, oil and vanilla.
- Spray a little bit of PAM into your coffee mug.
- Pour the batter into mug.
- Bake in microwave at high power for 1 minute.
- If the cake is not completely cooked, bake for 15 second intervals until it is done.
- Enjoy!!!! You can cut it in half or eat it alone =D
- Ideas for different flavors:
- Bake yellow cake and when its ready, cut in half. Sprinke some cinnamon sugar in the middle. If you are going to eat the whole thing, replace the top part and sprinkle more cinnamon sugar on it.
- Add in .5 tsp coffee (instant or regular) and .5 tsp cocoa.
- Add 1 tsp cocoa to batter.

This easy vanilla mug cake is made in the microwave and ready in minutes! It's moist, with a delicious vanilla flavor and tons of sprinkles.

Steps:
- Add the butter to your mug and microwave until melted (about 30 seconds).
- Whisk in the milk, vanilla extract, egg yolk & sugar with a fork.
- Then whisk in the flour and baking powder. Stir in the sprinkles.
- Microwave for 60-90 seconds on medium power. The top should look set when it's done.
- Cool for at least 1 minute before enjoying.
- Beat the butter using an electric mixer or whisk with a fork until smooth.
- Beat/whisk in the powdered sugar 1 tablespoon at a time until the desired sweetness is reached. Then beat/whisk in the milk.
- Spread/pipe on top of the cake.
