MARTHA STEWART'S BANANA NUT BREAD
I have been searching a LONG time and making MANY loaves of banana bread trying to find a light and fluffy (not dense and heavy) bread, and I finally found it! I think the sour cream has a lot to do with it. I have made 3 loaves, 2 of which turned out perfect, 1 of which didn't - I tried to cut back on the sugar and that must have been the problem. From now on I will follow the recipe exactly. I have not made it with the addition of the nuts yet. Don't be alarmed - the outside gets dark, but the inside is very moist. I use a 10" loaf pan and it bakes for exactly 50 minutes. BEWARE: The loaf will quickly disappear!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees, and butter or spray a 9x5x3" loaf pan.
- With an electric mixer, cream the butter and sugar very well until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs, beating well.
- Sift the dry ingredients together and combine with the butter mixture; blend well.
- Add the bananas, sour cream, and vanilla; stir well.
- Stir in the nuts.
- Pour into pan.
- Bake 50-60 minutes until a cake tester comes out clean.
- Turn out onto a rack to cool.

MOMMA CALLIE'S BANANA NUT BREAD WITH HONEY BUTTER

- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and put a rack on the middle shelf. Butter and flour a 9 by 5 by 3-inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
- In a separate small bowl, mash the bananas with a wooden spoon, leaving a bit of texture.
- In another large bowl, use a hand electric mixer or stand mixer to cream the 1/2 cup of butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, 1 at a time. Stir in the mashed bananas, sour cream and vanilla and beat until just combined. Add the dry ingredients and gently stir in pecans. Pour the batter into the pan and put on a sheet tray.
- Bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a wire rack to finish cooling. Slice and serve with Honey Butter.
- Mix the butter and the honey together in a small bowl with a wooden spoon. Serve with the banana bread.
NUTTY BANANA BREAD
This is just a really good and hearty banana bread. If you're not a nut person just omit them, you can also add a few raisins if you'd like. I like it right after its made, drenched in whipped butter. It's so yummy.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease three 8x4 inch loaf pans.
- In a large bowl, stir together flour, baking soda and salt. In a separate bowl, beat together bananas, butter, brown sugar and eggs. Stir banana mixture into flour mixture, just until combined. Fold in nuts. Pour batter into prepared pans.
- Bake in preheated oven for 30 to 45 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean. Let bread rest in pans for 10 minutes, ten remove loaves from pans and allow to cool on a wire rack.

LIISA'S BEST BANANA NUT BREAD
This is one of the best banana breads out there. It's very moist and full flavored. Often, I'll put in mini-muffin tins for the kids (cut the baking time)...it is really that good!! Hope you think so too!

- Sift the dry ingredients together and add slowly to the creamed mixture.
- Add the milk and vanilla.
