Steps:

  • Combine white chocolate chips and half-and-half in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir continuously until chocolate has completely melted, 3 to 4 minutes. Stir in milk and vanilla extract until heated through, 3 to 4 minutes more. Pour into mugs and serve.

2 cups half-and-half
1 cup good semisweet chocolate chips
Splash vanilla extract
1 teaspoon sugar, optional
Whipped cream, to serve

Steps:

  • To make the basic hot chocolate, combine the milk with the half-and-half in a small saucepan. Warm over medium-low heat, and then stir in the chocolate chips. Stir until melted (though there will still be lovely particles of chocolate throughout). If it's too chocolaty for you, splash in a little more milk. Add a splash of vanilla extract. If it's not quite sweet enough for you, add 1 teaspoon or so of sugar. Serve in mugs with whipped cream.

8 ounces White Chocolate (White melting wafers, chocolate chips or baking chocolate.)
6 tablespoons Marshmallow Bits
3 tablespoons White Hot Chocolate Mix

Steps:

  • Melt white chocolate in a small, microwave-safe bowl on 50% power in 15 second increments, stirring in between, until smooth.
  • Add a heaping spoonful of melted chocolate to each cavity. Using the back of a teaspoon, spread until completely covered.
  • Invert mold onto a parchment lined baking sheet and lightly shake to remove excess. Discard parchment and place mold on baking sheet (chocolate side up). Scrape edges of each cavity if needed.
  • Freeze 7 minutes.
  • Remove mold from freezer. White chocolate side down, press gently on the top of each sphere to carefully remove onto your baking sheet.
  • Meanwhile warm a plate in the microwave, dishwasher or oven and boil a glass of water to warm a spoon.
  • Remove from freezer and fill each of 3 spheres with a tablespoon of white hot chocolate mix and 2 tablespoons marshmallow bits.
  • Place the bottom of an empty sphere on the hot plate to lightly melt chocolate. Place the melted chocolate edge on filled half to seal, handling the chocolate as little as possible. Optional: If needed, dip a spoon in hot water, dry and run the back of it along the edges to seal.
  • Decorate using melted chocolate in a piping or sealable bag with the tip clipped and quickly top with marshmallow bits, crushed peppermint or sprinkles.

2 cups heavy cream

Steps:

  • Using a vegetable peeler, shave milk chocolate into curls; set aside.
  • Place white chocolate in a medium heat-proof bowl; set aside. Place milk and cream in a medium saucepan set over medium heat until bubbles begin to form around edges of pan, about 4 minutes. Immediately pour mixture over white chocolate. When chocolate begins to melt, stir to combine. Whisk in vanilla. Continue whisking until a light foam forms.
  • Serve immediately garnished with peppermint sticks, whipped cream, and chocolate curls.

  • Warm milk in the microwave for around 2 minutes, be careful as the cup and the milk will be quite hot when you come to take it out.
  • Boil some water in a small saucepan.
  • Add 50g of white chocolate into a heatproof bowl and warm until the chocolate has nearly melted, keep stirring to prevent it form burning.
  • Remove the chocolate from the pan, keep it in the bowl as the remaining heat will fully melt the chocolate, keep stirring until fully melted.
  • Pour the chocolate into the cup of hot milk and stir until they have blended together and the milk has turned to a white chocolate colour.
  • Sprinkle some cocoa powder on top to finish and enjoy.
