1 bottle (32 ounces) cranberry juice
5 cans (6 ounces each) unsweetened pineapple juice
1/3 cup Red Hots
1 cinnamon stick (3-1/2 inches)
Optional: Sugared cranberries or additional cinnamon sticks

Steps:

  • In a 3-qt. slow cooker, combine juices, Red Hots and cinnamon stick. Cover and cook on low for 2-4 hours or until heated through and candies are dissolved., Discard cinnamon stick before serving. Serve with sugared cranberries and additional cinnamon sticks if desired.

750 ml bottle ​ dark rum
750 ml bottle dry red wine
3 cups strong brewed tea
2 cups ​ sugar
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup lemon juice
2 cups seasonal fruits (for garnish)

Steps:

  • Gather the ingredients.
  • Heat, but do not allow to boil, all of the ingredients in a saucepan or chafing dish.
  • Stir well until all of the sugar is dissolved.
  • Pour the heated mix into a heat-proof punch bowl and add seasonal fruits like orange slices and cranberries.
  • Serve warm.
  • Heat, but do not allow to boil, the wine, tea, and lemon and orange juices in a saucepan or chafing dish.
  • Pour the heated mix into a heat-proof punch bowl.
  • Place as much sugar as possible into a large ladle and any excess sugar into the punch bowl.
  • Saturate the sugar in the ladle with rum.
  • Ignite the rum and sugar in the ladle and pour it into the bowl while still aflame.
  • Stir well and extinguish the flames.
  • Pour the remainder of the rum into the punch.
  • Stir well, ensuring the sugar is completely dissolved, and then add the fruit.
  • Serve warm.

1 gallon apple cider
4 cinnamon sticks
2 navel oranges, sliced down the middle
10 whole cloves

Steps:

  • Pour the cider in a dutch oven pan, 1/2 at a time.
  • Put on the stove on simmer.
  • add 2 cinnamon sticks.
  • add the navel orange slices.
  • add 5 whole cloves.
  • you may not like it like this, you might have to add 1 or 2 more cinnamon sticks or more cloves.
  • Yummy on the wood stove also.
  • Take off Heat after approximately 10 minutes.
  • Serve.

1 cinnamon stick
¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
¼ cup honey
3 tablespoons lemon juice
2 ¼ cups pineapple juice

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Stud the whole oranges with cloves, and bake for 30 minutes.
  • In a large saucepan, combine the apple juice and cinnamon stick. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to medium, and simmer 5 minutes. Remove from heat, and stir in the nutmeg, honey, lemon juice, and pineapple juice.
  • Serve hot in a punch bowl with the 2 clove-studded baked oranges floating on top.
