BAKED BRIE WITH HONEY AND WALNUTS
An easy baked brie recipe with honey, walnuts, and fresh rosemary

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350F degrees. Place the brie into a small oven proof dish or pan. Place into the oven and bake for 5-10 minutes, until softened. I like mine oozy so go a few extra minutes. If you just want the brie soft, check at 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile toast walnuts by placing them in a skillet over medium heat. Stir occasionally until the nuts are fragrant and toasted. This will take 3-4 minutes.. Watch carefully as the walnuts can burn quickly. Remove from heat.
- In a small bowl, combine toasted walnuts, chopped rosemary, dried cranberries if using and the honey. Stir until completely combined.
- Remove brie from oven and spoon over the walnut mixture over the top. Sprinkle with a generous pinch of sea salt and serve immediately.
- Serve brie with your choice of crackers, pita chips, grapes, apples, or crostini. They're all delicious choices!
BROWN SUGAR WALNUT BAKED BRIE
Steps:
- Cut top rind off of brie; discard.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine remaining ingredients and stir.
- Spoon brown sugar mixture over brie; place in shallow baking dish.
- Bake at 350° for 20 minutes or until cheese is bubbly.
- Serve with bread, apple slices, or crackers.

WALNUT CRANBERRY STUFFED BRIE
Steps:
- Heat oven to 400°F. Grease 15x10x1-inch baking pan; set aside.
- Combine walnuts, preserves and cranberries in bowl; set aside.
- Place 1 pastry sheet on lightly floured surface; top with second sheet. Roll out to 13-inch square. Cut to 13-inch circle. Place pastry circle onto prepared pan.
- Remove center of Brie cheese, using small sharp knife, in as large a piece as possible, leaving 1/4-inch shell around outside edge and bottom. Set center of cheese aside.
- Evenly press walnut-cranberry mixture into shell. Gently place Brie cheese center on top of walnut-cranberry mixture. (Do not push down or edges may crack.) Place filled Brie cheese in center of pastry circle. Gather pastry up around Brie, holding firmly at top; pinch edges of pastry to seal. Check for holes in pastry, patching with extra pastry, if needed. Decorate top with star-shaped pastry cut-outs, if desired.
- Whisk milk, water and egg together in bowl; brush over pastry. Bake 38-42 minutes or until medium golden brown. (Brie may leak when baking.) Let stand 15 minutes to allow Brie to set.
- Serve with apple slices or crackers.

- Preheat oven to 350°F. Slice top rind off brie.
- Place brie, cut side up, on a baking sheet lined with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
- Meanwhile, add walnuts, maple syrup, salt and pepper to a small skillet and cook over medium heat, stirring very frequently until syrup has evaporated.
- Allow brie to cool for a few minutes, transfer to serving dish and spoon maple glazed walnuts on top. Serve immediately with assorted crackers, apple slices or baguette.

BRIE WITH WARM HONEY AND TOASTED WALNUTS
To toast walnuts, heat your oven to 350 degrees F. Spread the nuts in a single layer on a baking sheet and roast for 5 to 10 minutes, tossing the nuts around occasionally to ensure even cooking. Nuts are toasted when they appear a shade darker and smell nutty.

- Remove the cheese from refrigerator and place onto a serving plate. Set aside for 1 hour so that it comes to room temperature.
- Five minutes before serving, heat the honey in a small saucepan over medium heat with the red pepper flakes and salt. When the honey is warm drizzle it over the brie. Scatter walnuts on top and around the sides then serve.

- Lightly grease a baking sheet. In a 1 quart glass measure, combine walnut halves, sugar, and water. Cook in microwave oven on high setting for 8 to 8 1/2 minutes, or until sugar has caramelized. Stir several times during cooking. Pour out onto prepared baking sheet, and separate into pieces. Let cool completely. store in an airtight container.

- Preheat oven to 350 and place rack in center position
- Use a knife to cut the rind off the top of cheese, discard. Place brie in oven safe baking dish, set aside.
- Chop cranberries, place them in a small microwave safe bowl, add orange juice and stir well. Place in the microwave for 50 seconds, this softens them up. Pour berries over Brie and top with chopped walnuts
- Place in the oven and bake for 15 minutes, or until cheese is soft and warm. Remove from oven, place on a pretty dish and serve with crackers.

- Heat oven to 300°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper; set aside.
- In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, sea salt, cinnamon and cayenne until combined.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together egg white and vanilla until combined. Add the walnuts and toss until they are evenly coated with the egg white mixture. Add the brown sugar mixture and toss until the walnuts are evenly coated.
- Spread the walnuts out in an even layer on the baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes. Remove baking sheet from the oven, and give the walnuts a brief stir. Return to the oven and bake for 5 more minutes. Remove and transfer to a wire rack to cool for 10 minutes.
- Serve immediately, or store in a sealed container for up to 2 weeks.

- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Spread the chopped walnuts in an 8 inch square baking pan and bake for 10-12 minutes or until roasted, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in the coffee liqueur, brown sugar, and vanilla; set aside.
- Reduce oven to 325F.
- Remove the top rind off the Brie.
- Place the Brie in a shallow baking dish.
- Top with the walnut mixture.
- Bake for about 8-10 minutes or until soft and heated through.
- Serve immediately with assorted crackers and pear slices.
