Steps:
- Add ground beef to a large skillet, using vegetable oil, if needed. If using lean beef (turkey or chicken) oil will be necessary. Cook until no pink remains.
- Drain and return to the skillet.
- Add beef back into pan and mix with taco seasoning and salsa, stir well until fully coated.
- Serve immediately with bags of Fritos or Doritos and toppings of your choice.

- If you haven't already done so, cook your meat of choice with taco or southwest seasoning per package directions.
- Keep warm in a crock pot or in the oven, along with cheese sauce, and prepared chili.
- Prepare, chop, and slice all the toppings and put in serving bowls or containers.
- To prepare a walking taco, start by picking your chips.
- Open the bag and gently crush or smash the chips into small pieces.
- Add your favorite toppings to the bag of crushed chips.
- Stir and enjoy!

- In a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink, breaking into crumbles, 6-8 minutes; drain. Stir in chili seasoning mix, pepper, tomatoes and beans; bring to a boil. - Place a large skillet over a medium heat. Add olive oil and minced garlic to the skillet. Once garlic is fragrant, add ground beef, stirring occasionally until cooked. Once beef is cooked, drain off fat and transfer to serving bowl. Set aside.
- Chop all your vegetables. Place each different topping in a different serving bowl. Set out each topping, including ground beef, on serving table.
- Crumple closed bag of chips in your hands. Open bag and begin to layer toppings of your choosing into bag of chips. Once you've assembled your walking taco, grab a fork and enjoy!
