SOUTHERN STYLE BANANA SPLIT CAKE
This great recipe belonged to my Grandma and requires no cooking.

Steps:
- Combine the graham cracker crumbs, white sugar and melted butter. Mix together and press into a 9x13 inch cake pan; refrigerate until chilled.
- Beat together the cream cheese and confectioners' sugar; spread over graham cracker crust.
- Layer bananas and pineapple over cream cheese mixture; cover fruit with whipped topping.
- Top with cherries and chopped nuts; refrigerate and serve chilled.

MOM'S BANANA CAKE
My mom has been making this banana cake all her married life. It's one of our family's favorites. It just says "home". Super easy & delicious!

Steps:
- Beat together butter & sugar.
- Add egg.
- Mix together flour, soda & baking powder. Add to sugar mixture.
- Add milk.
- Add bananas & vanilla.
- Bake in greased baking dish (I use square Corning ware dish) for 20-30 minute Frost with homemade powder sugar frosting, cream cheese frosting or vanilla. Hope you enjoy :).

Steps:
- 1. Mix 1 stick melted butter and 2 cups graham cracker crumbs. Press into a 9 x 13 pan.
- 2. Beat together the following with an electric mixer for no less than 15 minutes: 2 eggs 2 sticks butter (room temp) 2 cups confectioners' sugar Spread mixture over crust.
- 3. Slice the bananas and cover the mixture. Spread the drained crushed pineapple over the bananas. Cover the pineapple with the Cool Whip.
- 4. Sprinkle the Cool Whip with the chopped nuts and some cherries. Drizzle on Hershey's Chocolate if desired. For best results, refrigerate overnight.

- In a large bowl, mix whipped topping, sour cream and pudding mix until blended; fold in pineapple. Cut a small hole in the tip of a pastry bag. Transfer pudding mixture to bag., On a flat serving plate, arrange 4 crackers in a rectangle. Pipe about 1 cup pudding mixture over crackers; top with about 1/4 cup banana slices. Repeat layers 5 times. Refrigerate, covered, overnight., Just before serving, top with chocolate syrup, strawberries and additional banana slices.

This is a great summer dessert - very rich. My mom use to make this for our 4th of July family picnics.

Steps:
- 1. 1ST LAYER: Mix together graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press into bottom of a 9x13 baking dish.
- 2. 2ND LAYER: Beat together until firm, softened butter, eggs, powdered sugar and vanilla. Spread over graham cracker crust.
- 3. 3RD LAYER: Dip sliced bananas in reserved pinapple juice and place on 2nd layer.
- 4. 4TH LAYER: Add well drained pineapple on top of bananas.
- 5. 5TH LAYER: Whip the whipping cream until soft peaks form. **** a large container of Cool Whip can be used here instead of whipping cream **** Spread over pineapple.
- 6. 6TH LAYER: Sprinkle chopped walnuts and cherries on top. REFRIGERATE: for 8 hours.
