Velveeta chili cheese dip is creamy and delicious. With only 3 ingredients, it is super easy to make for the best snack or appetizer.

32 oz Velveeta Cheese
2 cans Chili can Carne (without beans-15 oz each)
2 cans chopped Green Chiles (4 oz each)

Steps:

  • Cube the Velveeeta cheese and place in a skillet or a sauce pan.
  • Place the chili and chopped green chiles on top.
  • Heat of medium heat, stir frequently until the cheese has melted and all ingredients are combined. Serve warm with chips and enjoy!

This is a home canned recipe. Velveeta and all cheeses are going through the roof in price! You can use any proceesed cheese spread. I bought 6 2lb bricks of velveeta cheese, on sale for half price and came up with this recipe. Store in a cool dark place. Refrigerate after opening. Green chilies can be mild, medium or hot.

4 lbs Velveeta cheese, cubed
1 (4 ounce) can diced green chilies, mild
1 cup evaporated milk
1/4 cup vinegar
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons dry mustard

Steps:

  • In a double boiler add cheese, canned diced green chiles, and milk.
  • Melt until blended. Add the vinegar, salt and dry mustard. Mix well.
  • Heat clean10 half pint jars or 5-6 pint jars with seals and lids. Ladle mixture in the jars. Leave at least one inch head space in the jar. Do not fill to the top. Wipe the rims off with hot sterile cloth. Seal with lids and rings.
  • Place in a boiling hot water bath for 15 minutes. Take out and place on a towelled surface without drafts. When you hear a "pop" and the seal is indented the jar has sealed.
  • Note: If you want a more creamy cheese spread, add 4 more ounces evaporated milk.
  • This delicious over fried potatoes and baked potatoes as well as crackers and also cooked cauliflower and broccili.

1 (2 lb) package Velveeta cheese, Cubed
1 lb ground beef
2 (10 1/2 ounce) cans of hormel chili without beans
2 (4 ounce) cans of la preferida green chilies, Diced

Steps:

  • Brown ground beef in over medium heat in a pan, drain fat and remove from heat.
  • Drain Green Chilies and add to browned beef.
  • Add the Cubed Velveeta Cheese and the Hormel Chili.
  • Mix all ingredients together.
  • If microwaving, add to a microwavable bowl and cook for 4 minutes. Stir, cook for another four minutes and serve with tortilla chips.
  • If cooking in the oven, pre-heat to 350 F andadd ingredients to a throwaway aluminum pan. Cook until cheese cubes are melted.
  • If using a crock-pot, add ingredients and cook on med-hi until cheese cubes are melted.
  • Serve dip with tortilla chips and Enjoy!

2 -3 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
1/4-1/2 cup chopped onion
1 tablespoon garlic powder

  • Melt cheese and add rest of the ingredients.
  • Chill.
