RANCH BURGERS FROM HIDDEN VALLEY®



Ranch Burgers from Hidden Valley® image

Grilled burgers seasoned with Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® Salad Dressing & Seasoning Mix with minced onions are served up on toasted hamburger buns with lettuce and tomato.

1 (1 ounce) packet Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® Salad Dressing & Seasoning Mix
2 pounds lean ground beef
1 small yellow onion, peeled and minced
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
½ cup seasoned dry bread crumbs
6 hamburger buns, lightly toasted
6 leaves butter lettuce, or more as needed
1 medium tomato, sliced

Steps:

  • Preheat the grill or broiler.
  • In a large bowl, combine the beef, seasoning mix, onion, and pepper and mix well. If desired, add bread crumbs to meat mixture, too.
  • With wet hands shape the meat mixture into 6 patties, each about 1-inch thick. Grill the burgers for 5 to 7 minutes per side or until an internal temperature of 165 degrees F is reached and juices run clear.
  • Serve the burgers topped with the lettuce and tomato.

1 medium onion, finely chopped
3 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
2 tablespoons minced fresh mint
1 garlic clove, minced
3/4 teaspoon ground allspice
3/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1-1/2 pounds lean ground beef (90% lean)
Lettuce leaves and refrigerated tzatziki sauce, optional

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the first 9 ingredients. Add beef; mix lightly but thoroughly. Shape into six 4x2-in. oblong patties., Grill patties, covered, over medium heat or broil 4 in. from heat, 4-6 minutes on each side or until a thermometer reads 160°. If desired, place on lettuce leaves and serve with sauce.

600 g beef mince or 600 g ground lamb
1 medium white onion, chopped
3 garlic cloves, crushed
1 red chili pepper
2 tablespoons garam masala
1 tablespoon fresh coriander, chopped
2 teaspoons turmeric
2 tablespoons cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
1 tablespoon black mustard seeds
salt and pepper
4 medium naan bread

Steps:

  • Place all ingredients in blender except for naan breads and blend until all ingredients are mixed together but chopped very roughly.
  • Form mince meat into four burger patties and coat both sides in vegetable oil.
  • Fry over medium heat until cooked through.
  • Put one patty into each naan bread and serve.
