2 slices white sandwich bread
Unsalted butter, room temperature
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Steps:

  • Preheat an oven or toaster oven to 425 degrees.
  • Cut XOXO letters or hearts out of parchment paper. Spread bread with butter on both sides. Place bread on a parchment-lined baking sheet and adhere stencils.
  • In a small bowl, mix together sugar and cinnamon. Generously sprinkle cinnamon sugar over toast. Bake until crisp and golden brown, 8 to 10 minutes. Peel off stencils; serve immediately.

1 tablespoon milk, or to taste
3 dashes ground nutmeg, or to taste
2 dashes ground cinnamon, or to taste
4 slices bread
1 teaspoon butter, or to taste
1 banana, or more to taste, sliced
6 strawberries, or more to taste, sliced
2 tablespoons maple syrup, or to taste, warmed
½ teaspoon confectioners' sugar, or to taste

Steps:

  • Beat eggs, milk, nutmeg, and cinnamon together with a fork in a bowl until somewhat smooth.
  • Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
  • Dip a bread slice into egg mixture to evenly and generously coat each side and put into the hot skillet; cook until golden brown, 2 to 3 minutes per side. Repeat with each bread slice.
  • Cut each slice in half on a diagonal and arrange onto 2 plates. Arrange banana and strawberry slices on the plates around the French toast. Drizzle maple syrup over the French toast; dust with confectioners' sugar.

1 cup butter, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ cup confectioners' sugar
½ cup heart-shaped cinnamon candies, ground into a fine powder
¼ cup cornstarch
1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour, divided

Steps:

  • Beat butter in a large bowl with a hand mixer until fluffy; add vanilla extract, confectioners' sugar, ground cinnamon candies, and cornstarch and mix with hand mixer until combined.
  • Incorporate flour 1/4 cup at a time, mixing with your hands until all flour is used and dough comes together.
  • Divide dough into halves; roll each into an 8-inch cylinder. Wrap each cylinder in waxed paper and freeze until firm, at least 1 hour to overnight.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Remove dough from freezer and let thaw just until slightly softened.
  • Cut dough into 1/4-inch slices and arrange onto baking sheets.
  • Bake in preheated oven until firm along the edges but not yet browned, about 10 minutes. Cool cookies on racks for 5 minutes before moving to a rack to cool completely.

4 slices or wheat, country, or brioche loaf bread, cut into ½-inch slices white bread
1 cup room temperature unsalted butter
1 cup peanut butter
⅔ cup granulated sugar
2 tsp ground cinnamon
⅛ tsp salt

Steps:

  • Combine the sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a mixing bowl. Stir to evenly to incorporate and transfer to a plate.
  • Spread roughly 1½ tablespoons of butter on both sides of your bread slices. Toss the buttered slices in your cinnamon sugar to coat.
  • Place onto your lined baking sheet. Bake for roughly 5 to 8 minutes, until the edges start to turn golden brown and butter is foamy.
  • Flip and do the same on the other side on your slices for another 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Once baked, set aside at room temperature. Cool down until warm enough to handle.
  • Spread roughly ¼ cup of peanut butter per toast. You may serve with some berries and drizzle some honey.

3 cups Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal
1 1/2 sticks butter; sliced
1 box vanilla cake mix; 15.25 ounce size

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350° F
  • Layer the 3 cups of cereal in the bottom of a 9X13 inch baking dish that's been sprayed with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Add the canned apple pie filling in an even layer over the cereal.
  • Spread the vanilla cake mix on top of the apples in an even layer.
  • Finally add the sliced butter and evenly space on top of the cake mix layer.
  • Bake the cake for 45 to 55 minutes or until the cake is bubbling.
  • Remove from the oven an d allow it to cool for a few minutes before serving.
