This quick strawberry shake is great on hot summer days.

1 (16 ounce) package fresh strawberries, hulled
2 bananas, peeled and sliced
3 cups ice cubes
1 (16 ounce) container plain low-fat yogurt

Steps:

  • Blend strawberries, bananas, half of the ice cubes, and yogurt in a blender on high until smooth. Add the remaining ice and blend further until smooth again. Serve immediately.

1 cup milk
1/2 cup honey
1-1/2 cups frozen unsweetened strawberries
1/4 cup toasted wheat germ
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
Dash salt

Steps:

  • In two batches, process all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Pour into chilled glasses; serve immediately.
