Easiest. Tuna salad. Ever. We mixed garden vegetable flavor cream cheese with flaky tuna, then rolled it in a tortilla with a few veggies.

1 can (3 oz.) white tuna in water, drained, flaked (about 1/4 cup)
2 Tbsp. PHILADELPHIA Garden Vegetable 1/3 Less Fat than Cream Cheese
1 whole wheat tortilla (8 inch)
1 lettuce leaf
2 Tbsp. shredded carrots

Steps:

  • Mix tuna and cream cheese until well blended; spread onto tortilla.
  • Top with lettuce and carrots; roll up tightly.
  • Serve immediately. Or, wrap tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Toss together purchased Alfredo sauce, canned tuna and frozen broccoli, and you'll have a hearty casserole in a snap!

1/2 cup Alfredo pasta sauce
2 eggs
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
4 cups cooked tricolor rotelle pasta
1 package (10 oz) frozen chopped broccoli, thawed, drained
1 can (5 oz) tuna, drained
1 cup seasoned croutons

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Mix Alfredo sauce, eggs and garlic in ungreased square baking dish, 8x8x2 inches. Stir in pasta, broccoli and tuna. Press lightly in baking dish.
  • Cover and bake about 20 minutes or until set. Sprinkle with croutons.

This is a recipe I found on the net and saved to try. It was originally from a caterer named Barbie. I love it. The secret ingredients that make this so yummy are the curry and parmesan. ( The dill is great too.) Now I never put either of those in my tuna before but it mixed oh so well. Try it on crackers or in a sandwich. Our family gobbles it up. Enjoy. ChefDLH

1 (7 ounce) can solid white tuna, drained and flaked
6 tablespoons mayonnaise or 6 tablespoons salad dressing
1 tablespoon parmesan cheese
3 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
1/8 teaspoon dried minced onion flakes
1/4 teaspoon curry powder
1 tablespoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon dried dill weed
1 pinch garlic powder

Steps:

  • In a medium bowl, stir together the tuna, mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, and onion flakes. Season with curry powder, parsley, dill and garlic powder. Mix well and serve with crackers or on a sandwich.

6 ounces fresh sushi-grade tuna
2 tablespoons soy sauce
½ tablespoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon chili garlic sauce
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
¼ cup fresh mango, diced
½ cup vegetable oil
5 sheets wonton wrappers, cut in half diagonally

Steps:

  • Wrap the tuna tightly in plastic wrap. Place it in the freezer until it's firm and easy to cut.
  • Mix together the soy sauce, sesame oil, chili garlic sauce, and ginger in a small bowl. Set the mixture aside.
  • Remove the tuna from the freezer when it's par-frozen. Remove the plastic wrap.
  • With a sharp knife, dice the tuna into small cubes about ¼-inch around.
  • Toss together the tuna, mango, and prepared sauce in a medium-sized mixing bowl. Place the mixture in the refrigerator to finish defrosting.
  • Heat the vegetable oil on medium-high heat in a large, heavy-bottomed skillet.
  • Fry the wonton wrapper halves - 2 at a time is best - for about 12 to 15 seconds on each side after the oil is shimmering. Cook them until they are just beginning to brown on the edges. Transfer the cooked wonton wrapper halves to a paper towel-lined plate.
  • Remove the fully defrosted tuna from the refrigerator.
  • Serve the tuna tartare with the fried wontons and your choice of optional toppings.

This is a cold salad like one I had at a resturant recently and I just loved it. I looked all over to get as close to the one I had so I could make it myself. As I took down the ingredients to share it, I find that this recipe came from none other than Mr. Food. To his good memory.

1/2 lb spiral pasta, can use whole wheat
2 c mayonnaise, can use light
1/4 c apple cider vinegar
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 (12-ounce) can tuna, drained and flaked
1 (10-ounce) package frozen peas, thawed
2 ribs celery, thinly sliced
1/2 small red onion, chopped
1/4 c snipped fresh dill or 1 tablespoon dried dill

  • 1. Cook the pasta according to the package directions; drain, rinse, and drain again. In a large bowl, combine the mayonnaise, vinegar, and pepper; mix well. Add the pasta and remaining ingredients. Toss until well mixed; cover, and chill for at least 2 hours before serving

After reading the comments on the dill I want to mention that the original recipe called called for 3 tablespoons of dried dill! Can you imagine.....I would change the name to dill salad!

2 (6 ounce) cans light chunk tuna in water, drained
8 ounces macaroni or 8 ounces shaped pasta
1 cup frozen peas
1/3-1/2 cup finely chopped onion, i like vidalia
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup mayonnaise (plus more if needed)
2 tablespoons cider vinegar (*)
1 tablespoon dried dill
1 dash pepper
salt

Steps:

  • Cook pasta according to directions.
  • Put frozen peas in colander and drain pasta over peas.
  • In large bowl mix mayonnaise and vinegar.
  • Add pasta and peas and mix well.
  • Add remaining ingredients mixing well.
  • Taste to adjust seasonings.
  • Place in fridge for flavors to blend (or eat as is if you can't wait).
  • You might want to add additional mayonnaise after salad has been refrigerated, because some of the mayonnaise will "soak" into pasta.
  • *This is the amount of vinegar the original recipe calls for -- I have been cutting down to one tablespoon.

¼ red onion, chopped
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
½ teaspoon sugar
1 ½ teaspoons kosher salt, divided
2 teaspoons olive oil
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 mango, chopped
5 sprigs fresh mint
¼ cup fresh parsley
¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 to 1 ½ pounds tuna steak, 1 inch thick
1 tablespoon canola oil
¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Heat the grill to medium heat.
  • Finely chop the red onion and place it in a medium bowl.
  • Add the red wine vinegar, sugar, and ½ teaspoon kosher salt to the onion. Set the onion mixture aside.
  • Heat the olive oil in a small saucepan over medium heat until it is hot, 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Add the ground cinnamon to the oil and stir.
  • Allow the cinnamon to bloom in the oil for 4 to 6 minutes until it is fragrant. Remove from the heat immediately, pour the cinnamon oil over the red onions, and stir.
  • Turn the grill to high heat.
  • Dice the mango into ½-inch pieces and add to the onion mixture.
  • Finely chop the mint and parsley and add to the mango mixture.
  • Add the crushed red pepper flakes to the mixture, then stir all of the ingredients to combine and set the salsa aside.
  • Brush canola oil on both sides of the tuna and season with the remaining 1 teaspoon of kosher salt and the black pepper.
  • Grill the tuna for 2 to 3 minutes per side. It will easily come off the grill with a metal spatula when it is ready to turn. If it is sticking, leave it on the grill.
  • Take the tuna off the heat and let it rest for 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Thinly slice the tuna and serve it with mango salsa spooned on top.
