TUNA PASTA BAKE - WHEAT FREE RECIPE
My Mum makes a great tuna pasta bake, but since i found out of my intollerance to gluten i have had to find another recipe, i found this on wheat-free.org, havnt tried it yet but i intend to once i get back from spain

Steps:
- Cook the pasta and drain well.
- In a separate saucepan put the tomatoes, tomato puree, garlic, herbs and tabasco, bring to the boil then simmer for 10 minutes.
- Allow to cool slightly or when adding the yogurt it will curdle.
- Add the yogurt and sweetcorn to the tomato mixture and mix well.
- Put the tuna in with the pasta and mix to distribute the tuna evenly.
- Then tip the tomato mixture on top and stir thoroughly.
- Tip the mixture into an ovenproof dish and top with grated cheese.
- Cook in the oven for 30-35 minutes, until the top is golden and the misture is bubbling.
- Serve on it's own or accompanied by a green salad.

- Cook the pasta according to packet instructions, and set aside. Finely chop the spring onions and set aside as well.
- Drain and rinse the cannellini beans. Place in a blender or food processor with the milk, garlic powder, mustard and a pinch of salt and pepper. Blend until smooth.
- Place cooked pasta, all of the vegetables, tuna and spring onion in the baking dish. Make sure tuna is flaked through rather than being in really large chunks. Pour over the milk mixture and add in half of the cheese. Stir everything together and then arrange evenly in the baking dish.

- Cook the onion, carrot and beans in a large saucepan with enough water to cover them, over a low heat, for approx. 10 mins, lid on
- Add the garlic and cook for a further minute before adding all the remaining sauce ingredients except the tuna. Make sure the vegetables don't dry out completely in this time or they will burn on the bottom
- Cook over a low heat with the lid on, adding water if necessary to retain a sauce that isn't too think or thin, for approx. 30 minutes or until the vegetables are soft. Stir occasionally to make sure the sauce doesn't stick on the bottom of the pan
