1 1/2 cups rolled oats
1 cup cornmeal
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried thyme
2 teaspoons dried parsley
5 ounces tuna in vegetable oil, undrained
3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup water
1 egg

Steps:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F; lightly coat a baking sheet with cooking spray.
In a large bowl, whisk together oats, cornmeal, flour and the herbs.
Use a blender or food processor to puree the tuna, oil, water and egg.
Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and add the puree; stir until combined.
Use a 1 inch cookie scooper to pack the dough, then place on the prepared cookie sheet (I just use my hands to compress and try to make them all about the same size).
Bake for 25 minutes; cool on a wire rack.

Ingredients

1 ½ cups water
¾ cup uncooked long-grain white rice
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 onion, diced
3 (5 ounce) cans water packed tuna, drained and flaked
½ cup milk
3 tablespoons self-rising flour
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1 teaspoon white sugar
1 teaspoon white vinegar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 eggs
vegetable oil for frying

Steps:

Bring water to a boil in a medium saucepan, and stir in rice. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir in onion, cover tightly, and cook until tender but not browned, about 5 minutes.
In a large bowl, mix tuna, milk, flour, parsley, sugar, and vinegar. Season with salt and pepper. Mix in rice, onion, and eggs. Mold the mixture into 12 balls using 2 teaspoons.
Heat oil in a large, heavy skillet or deep fryer. Fry the tuna balls in batches until lightly browned, 2 to 3 minutes. Drain on paper towels.

2 cups white flour
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 cup water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
6 ounces tuna, drained
1 teaspoon garlic powder

Steps:

Preheat oven to 350°F.
Combine all ingredients.
Turn out on floured surface and knead until firm, a little more flour may be needed.
Roll to 1/2" thickness, cut with cookie cutter, or pizza wheel.
Bake for 30 minutes, then turn off heat, let biscuits stand in oven for 2 hours.
