TRANSPARENT PIE
My daughter-in-law introduced me to this wonderful pie. It is more common in the north and western areas of the country. I was a little skeptical, but love it. To me, it is better cold. So, enjoy.

Steps:
- 1. Combine flour & sugars; beat in eggs, cream, salt, butter, & vanilla. Pour into pie shell & bake at 425 for 30-35 mins or until firm. It is great alone, with fresh whipped cream, drizzled with chocolate, or with fruit.
TRANSPARENT PIE
Steps:
- Mix butter and sugar together until nice and smooth. Add remaining ingredients and mix vigorously. Pour into pie crusts. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes or until set. Keep at close watch as they will burn easily.
HAZEL'S BEST TRANSPARENT PIE
This recipe came from my late husbands sweet Mother, Hazel. I had not tried this until he told me about it. We asked for the original recipe and this is it! It is very special... Certain members of the family are addicted to it! :) It's so good!

- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix sugar and butter and add flour. Stir unit smooth
- 2. Add eggs one at a time and beat well.
- 3. Gradually add cream and then vanilla and mix well. Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake for 35 to 45 min.. Until golden brown and is mostly set.
