This Citrus Sangria is packed with fresh ruby red grapefruit, blood oranges, lemons, and key limes for a bright a zesty cocktail perfect for a party!

2 blood oranges
2 lemons
5 key limes
1 ruby red grapefruit
1/2 cup triple sec
1/4 cup simple syrup
1 1.5 liters bottle Frontera Chardonnay
1- liter lemon-lime soda
ice

Steps:

  • Slice fruit and add to a large pitcher. Pour in triple sec, simple syrup, and Frontera Chardonnay and chill for at least 3 hours.
  • Pour sangria in a glass of ice until 3/4 full and top off with chilled lemon-lime soda.

2 tablespoons sugar
1 lemon ( cut into wedges )
1 orange (cut into wedges)
1 (750-milliliter) bottle red wine
1 1/2 ounces brandy
2 cups ginger ale (or club soda)
Garnish: lemon and orange wheels

Steps:

  • Gather the ingredients.
  • Add the sugar to a large pitcher. Squeeze the lemon and orange wedges into the pitcher.
  • Add the wine and stir to dissolve the sugar. Add the brandy and stir.
  • Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for 8 hours or up to overnight to marry the fruit and wine flavors.
  • Add the ginger ale or club soda just before serving. Garnish with freshly cut lemon or orange wheels, if desired.

1 (750 ml) bottle dry red wine (such as a hearty Burgundy)
1 cup fresh orange juice
1/2 cup fresh lime juice
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup superfine sugar
1/4 cup triple sec (orange-flavored liqueur)
2 oranges, sliced
2 limes, sliced
1 lemon, sliced

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients except sliced fruit in a large bowl or pitcher.
  • Cover and refrigerate until well chilled, about 2 hours.
  • Fill a large pitcher with ice; add sliced fruit, then pour in sangria over fruit and ice.
  • Makes 5 cups without ice.

750 ml bottle dry Spanish red wine
1/2 apple
2 oranges
3/4 cup (fresh) orange juice
1/3 cup brandy or vermouth
Optional: 2 tablespoons brown sugar
Optional: Carbonated beverage like lemon soda or soda water
Ice cubes

Steps:

  • Optional: If you want to use sugar to make a sweeter sangria, dissolve two tablespoons of brown sugar in two tablespoons of water over low heat to create a syrup. Afterward, let it cool.
  • Juice 1.5 oranges so that you have around 3/4 cup of fresh orange juice.
  • Chop the remaining half orange and half an apple into small pieces.
  • Stir together one bottle of dry red wine, the fresh orange juice, optional syrup, brandy or vermouth (optional), and the orange and apple pieces.
  • Add ice cubes (and optional a carbonated beverage) just before serving.
  • Enjoy your homemade sangria!

2 oranges, thinly sliced
1 lemon, thinly sliced
1 lime, thinly sliced
4 cups fresh firm fruits, prepared and sliced as appropriate
1 gallon full-bodied dry red wine, such as Cabernet Sauvignon
1 1/2 to 2 cups orange liqueur, such as Cointreau or Triple Sec
1 1/2 cups Presidente brandy
2 bunches lemon verbena, washed and stemmed (about 2 cups)
Fresh soft fruits, prepared and sliced as appropriate
Club soda, champagne, or sparkling wine

Steps:

  • Combine citrus slices and other firm fruits in a large, nonreactive container. Add wine, liqueur, brandy, and lemon verbena. Cover and refrigerate overnight (or up to 3 days). When ready to serve, put some soft fruits into each wine glass and fill two-thirds full with the Sangria. Top off with a splash of club soda.
