Steps:
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the tortellini, and cook until tender, about 10 minutes.
- While you get the tortellini going, combine the tomatoes, spinach, salt, pepper, basil and garlic in a large saucepan over medium heat. Cook and stir until the mixture begins to bubble.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, milk and cream. Stir this mixture into the saucepan along with the Parmesan cheese. Heat through, then reduce heat to low, and simmer until thick, about 2 minutes.
- Drain the tortellini, but do not rinse, then pour them into the saucepan with the sauce. Stir to coat, and serve.

HUNT'S® TOMATO AND BACON TORTELLINI
Seasoned tomatoes, peas and bacon combined with cheese tortellini in a creamy sauce. While any bacon will work in this recipe, smoky thick-sliced bacon produces the best results. To substitute ham for the bacon, cook garlic in 1 tablespoon olive oil and add 1 cup diced ham with the tomatoes, tomato sauce and water. Recipe may be prepared with refrigerated tortellini in place of frozen. Use a 20-oz package and increase water to 1-1/4 cups.

- Ensure the cream cheese is very soft (take it out of the fridge 1+ hour prior to making the recipe or microwave it for 20-30 seconds).
- Boil a large, salted pot of water for the tortellini. Start cooking the tortellini once the bacon is done (tortellini cooks fast).
- Meanwhile, cut the bacon into small pieces (I use kitchen shears to make it easy). Fry it in a skillet over medium-high heat until crispy (about 10 minutes).
- Take the pan off the heat and remove the bacon to a paper towel lined plate. Drain most of the bacon fat from the pan (keep about 1 tablespoon in there).
