THERMOMIX SLOPPY JOES #2
This is a much better recipe than the one I posted before. I've been tweaking it and tweaking it! The veggies listed are the ones I always use, but sometimes I add others - a carrot or parsnip, green beans, anything! Add a little water if it feels too chunky or dry.

Steps:
- Place onion, red pepper and celery into TM bowl. Chop 10 seconds/speed 5. While chopping drop the garlic cloves onto the whirling blades.
- Add oil to TM bowl. Saute veggies for 5 minutes/100 degrees/speed 2.
- Add ground beef to TM bowl. Cook 5 minutes/100 degrees/speed 2.
- Add all remaining ingredients to TM bowl. Cook 5 minutes/100 degrees/speed 2.
- Serve over hamburger buns or rolls (I usually use Thermomix Basic Bread #2, food.com #442374).

SLOW-COOKER SLOPPY JOES

Steps:
- In a large skillet, cook beef, celery and onion over medium-high heat, 8-10 minutes, until beef is no longer pink, breaking beef into crumbles; drain. Transfer to a 3-qt. slow cooker., Stir in chili sauce, brown sugar, pickle relish, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Cook, covered, on low 3-4 hours or until heated through and flavors are blended. Spoon meat mixture onto bun bottoms. Replace tops.

Steps:
- Chop onion,bell pepper, and celery 10 seconds/speed 3. While chopping, drop garlic cloves onto whirling blades. Scrape down sides.
- Add the oil to TM bowl. Saute vegetables 5 minutes/100 degrees/speed 2.
- Add all remaining ingredients. Cook 15 minutes/100 degrees/speed 1 with MC on.
- Turn down to 90 degrees when the mixture begins to steam rapidly.
- Serve over hamburger buns or rolls.

- In a Dutch oven, cook beef and green pepper over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in the tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste and seasonings. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and cook over low heat for 30 minutes., Uncover; cook 30-40 minutes longer or until thickened. Discard bay leaves. Serve 1/2 cup of meat mixture on each bun.
