THE PALOMINO MARTINI



The Palomino Martini image

Especially good on a hot summers evening, we love this simple martini to sip on. Pink grapefruit works best, and try to find a smooth, aged tequila and if possible, chill your martini glasses in the freezer for a frosty, smooth treat!

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 1/2 ounces gold tequila
1 ounce freshly squeezed pink grapefruit juice
1 dash grenadine
1 lime, wheel (to garnish)

Steps:

  • In a shaker full of ice, shake tequila and grapefruit juice.
  • Strain into a martini glass.
  • Add grenadine and garnish with lime wheel.

Dash salt
1-1/2 ounces tequila
1/2 ounce lime juice
1/2 cup grapefruit soda or sparkling peach citrus soda
Lime wedge

Steps:

  • In a highball glass filled with ice, combine salt, tequila and lime juice. Top with soda. Garnish with lime.
