Six simple ingredients are all you need to make the best cheese ball recipe! Even better, it takes just minutes to make. It's the perfect make-ahead appetizer. Holiday gatherings, parties, game day events, etc!

16 oz cream cheese (, softened)
4 oz pastrami (, thin sliced)
3 green onions (, finely chopped)
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon sea salt

Steps:

  • Place the softened cream cheese in a mixing bowl and stir or beat with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
  • Add the diced pastrami, green onions, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and sea salt. Mix well with a spatula. (You don't want to use the mixer for this part, it might break down the meat and onions too much.)
  • Use the spatula to form the mixture into a ball in the bowl as best as you can. Lay out a large sheet of plastic wrap, place the chopped pecans in the middle and gently move the cheese ball onto the pecans.
  • Gently use the plastic wrap to press the pecans into the cheese ball and help form a more rounded ball shape. Wrap the cheese ball tightly and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  • Serve with your favorite crackers, pita chips, or pretzel crisps.

1 pkg. (8 oz.) KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1/2 cup dried cranberries
2 Tbsp. port wine
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/4 cup maple-flavored or pancake syrup

Steps:

  • Mix cream cheese spread, cheddar, cranberries and wine until blended. Refrigerate 1 hour.
  • Shape into ball or other desired shape; coat with nuts. Place on serving plate.
  • Drizzle with syrup before serving.

This is the only cheese ball recipe you will ever need. I can honestly say it's the BEST cheese ball I have ever had!

1 lb. sharp cheddar cheese (shredded)
6 oz. onion and chive cream cheese (softened)
8 oz. cream cheese (softened)
6 oz. Lighthouse Chunky Blue Cheese dressing
2.1 oz. black olives (chopped)
4 oz. pimento (diced)
1/2 Tbsp granulated garlic
1/2 tsp Accent seasoning
1 cup almonds (finely chopped)

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients except for almonds and mix well. You may need to use your hands to do this! You want to make sure all the flavors are well mixed.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and store in refrigerator over night.
  • After chilling, divide mixture into two cheese balls. At this point you can roll in chopped almonds and serve or wrap up again and keep in the refrigerator until ready to serve. Be sure it is airtight. Cover with almonds right before serving.

8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
1 cup cheddar cheese (4 ounces shredded)
1/2 cup mozzarella or white cheddar (2 ounces shredded)
1/8 cup green onion (sliced thin)
1/4 cup white onion (chopped fine)
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon lemon juice
2 dashes Tabasco sauce (or other hot sauce)
12 ounces cream cheese (softened)
1.5 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon honey

Steps:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, shredded cheese, onion, and spices.
  • Mix to combine.
  • Place the mixture on some plastic wrap.
  • Bring the sides up and twist to form into a ball.
  • Chill for 30 minutes or up to 3 days.
  • When ready to serve, remove plastic and roll in coating.
  • Place on a serving tray and add crackers!

This came on line and soooo cute, have to save it. Looks like a little pumpkin and would be great for any Fall party, you'll need 1 top of a bell pepper stem for garnish but f.c doesn't recognize that so had to put it here. The 2 hour prep time is chilling time

16 oz cream cheese, room temperature
2 c cheddar cheese
3 Tbsp minced onion
3 Tbsp salsa
1 tsp ground cumin
2 c nacho cheese chips, crumbled
top of bell pepper (for stem garnish)

Steps:

  • 1. 1. With a mixer, combine cream cheese, cheddar, onion, salsa and cumin. Mix until creamy.
  • 2. 2. Scoop mixture onto plastic wrap and use wrap to form a ball and chill for at least 2 hours
  • 3. 3. When ready to serve, roll ball into the crushed nacho chips and place bell pepper stem on top. Serve with chips, vegetables or pretzels!

  • Fry the cheese balls in a non-sticking pan with plenty of oil, until nicely colored. Place the fried cheese balls on some kitchen paper to absorb the extra oil. (Tips: Heat the oil until very hot and fry them in batches. If the surface of the pan is overcrowded then the temperature of the oil will decrease and your cheese balls will not be crispy any more!)
