The Perfect Basic Burger image

Nothing beats a simple hamburger on a warm summer evening! Ground beef is blended with an easy to prepare bread crumb mixture. Pile these burgers with your favorite condiments, pop open a cool drink and enjoy!

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 egg
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
1 pound ground beef
½ cup fine dry bread crumbs

Steps:

  • Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat and lightly oil grate.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together egg, salt and pepper. Place ground beef and bread crumbs into the mixture. With hands or a fork, mix until well blended. Form into 4 patties approximately 3/4 inch thick.
  • Place patties on the prepared grill. Cover and cook 6 to 8 minutes per side, or to desired doneness.

I made this version of one ofmy favorite burgers from our local restraunt here in Gustavus. It is very yummy and very rich tasting.

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 lb ground beef ( hamburger)
1 Tbsp worcestershire sauce
1 tsp mustard powder (ground)
1 tsp onion powder
salt and pepper to taste
1/3 c crumbled blue cheese
1 egg beaten*

Steps:

  • 1. Mix all ingredients together and form into 1/4 pound patties.
  • 2. Grill to desired likeness ( doneness).
  • 3. Top with all the regular burger fixin's
  • 4. * only use if needed to hold burger mixture together*

This is suppose to be an orginal New York City Recipe! Best piece of meat between 2 buns . . . ever. Mission:To convert as many vegetarians into meat eaters as possible, burger by burger. Just use the pulp of the french onion soup.

1/3 hot Italian sausage
2/3 ground chuck
monterey jack pepper cheese, grated into mixing bowl to your taste
1 Campbell's French onion soup, and add to mixing bowl
A.1. Original Sauce, to mixing bowl

Steps:

  • Form patties.
  • Grill and throw on bun with a dab of A1 sauce.
  • DO Not add cheese, lettuce, tomatos. It ruins what is already great.
  • Top with Guacamole if anything. DO NOT add cheese, lettuce, or tomato. It ruins what is already great.
