1 1/2 ounces reposado tequila, preferably Arette or Tromba brand
1/2 ounce sherry, preferably Palo Cortado brand
1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice
1/2 ounce orange juice
3/4 ounce coconut cream
1/4 ounce simple syrup, heat equal parts sugar and water until sugar dissolves; cool before using
Ice cubes
Crushed ice
1 whole nutmeg, for grating
Steps:
Into a cocktail shaker, add tequila, sherry, lemon juice, orange juice, coconut cream, and simple syrup. Fill shaker with ice cubes, and fill rocks glass with crushed ice. Give the cocktail a quick shake: since it's a rich drink, it shouldn't be diluted by over-shaking. Strain into the glass and top with more crushed ice. Use a Microplane to grate fresh nutmeg on top before serving.
