These Tex Mex Deviled eggs are extremely yummy and different than typical deviled eggs. I forgot where I found the recipe but I have it written on some yellow legal paper. This is a quick and easy recipe, too.

- Cut eggs in half (crosswise); carefully remove yolks.
- Mash yolks& stir in green onions& next 5 ingredients.
- Spoon into eggwhites; sprinkle with cheese& chili powder.
- Cover& chill.

- Slice eggs in half lengthwise; remove yolks and set whites aside.
- In a small bowl, mash yolks; add cheese, mayonnaise, salsa, onions, sour cream, and salt; mix well.

- Remove yolks from halved eggs and place in a medium bowl. Mash the yolks with a fork and then add the mayonnaise, sour cream, chives, and 1 1/2 teaspoons of taco seasoning. Mix together well.
- Place mixture in a resealable plastic bag, snip off the corner, and pipe into the cooked egg whites.
- Top with finely diced avocado and chives. Using a strainer add the remaining 1/2 teaspoon of taco seasoning and lightly dust the eggs with it. Refrigerate until serving.

- In a skillet over medium-high heat add the oil and chorizo. Cook until crispy. Reserve one tablespoon of the oil, discard any remaining and drain chorizo on a paper towel. Set aside.
- Slice each hard boiled egg in half and gently remove the cooked yolk. Set the egg whites on a try.
- In a bowl mix together the yolks, reserved tablespoon of chorizo oil, yogurt, lemon juice and zest, chili and garlic powders and salt until creamy. This can be done in a food processor if you like.
- With a rubber spatula, put the egg yolk mixture in a plastic bag or piping bag. Snip the corner of the plastic bag and evenly distribute the egg yolk mixture inside each egg white. Top with divided crispy chorizo and chopped chives.
