Grilled beef skewers taste delicious with a hint o wood-fired flavor, give your beef a quick teriyaki marinade then put them on our amazing Traeger skewers & fire them over our flavorful wood-fired grill.

boneless top round steak, cut into 1/4-inch-thick slices
light brown sugar
soy sauce
pineapple juice, optional
water
vegetable oil
garlic clove, finely chopped

Steps:

  • Slice the beef into 1 1/2-2-inch-wide strips.
  • In a small bowl, add the brown sugar, soy sauce, pineapple juice, if using, water, vegetable oil, and garlic. Whisk together to combine.
  • In a large resealable bag add the marinade and beef slices. Seal the bag and marinate the beef in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
  • When ready to cook, set the Traeger temperature to 325°F and preheat with the lid closed for 15 minutes.
  • Remove the beef from the marinade, shaking to remove any excess liquid. Discard the marinade. Thread the beef slices in a zig-zag onto the skewers.
  • Place the skewers directly on the grill grates. Close the lid, and cook the skewers turning once, until the beef is cooked through, 3 minutes per side.
  • Remove the skewers from the grill and serve warm. Enjoy!

1 cup soy sauce
½ cup pineapple juice
½ cup water
¼ cup vegetable oil
3 large garlic cloves, chopped
4 pounds boneless round steak, cut into 1/4-inch slices
bamboo skewers, soaked in water

Steps:

  • Whisk brown sugar, soy sauce, pineapple juice, water, vegetable oil, and garlic together in a large bowl; drop beef slices into the mixture and stir to coat. Cover bowl with plastic wrap.
  • Marinate beef in refrigerator for 24 hours.
  • Remove beef from the marinade, shaking to remove any excess liquid. Discard marinade.
  • Thread beef slices in a zig-zag onto the skewers.
  • Preheat grill for medium heat and lightly oil the grate.
  • Cook skewers on preheated grill until the beef is cooked through, about 3 minutes per side.

1/4 cup cider vinegar
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons finely chopped onion

2 pounds beef top sirloin steak, cut into 1/2-in.-thick strips

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, mix first eight ingredients; toss with beef. If you're looking for a light and healthy dinner then these kebabs are just the ticket - rich in folate, fibre, iron and vitamin C, plus 3 of your 5-a-day

1 tbsp tamari or soy sauce
3 tbsp freshly squeezed orange juice
15g chunk ginger , peeled and very finely grated
2 garlic cloves , crushed
1 tsp honey (preferably raw)
¼ tsp chilli flakes
300g beef sirloin steak , trimmed of hard fat and cut into long, thin strips
100g long-grain brown rice
⅓ cucumber , cut into small cubes
2 medium carrots , peeled and sliced into ribbons with a peeler
4 spring onions , trimmed and diagonally sliced
100g radishes , trimmed and sliced
20g coriander , leaves roughly chopped, plus extra to garnish
10g mint leaves , plus extra to garnish
1 tbsp cold-pressed rapeseed oil
zest and juice 1 lime
25g unsalted cashew nuts , toasted and roughly chopped

Steps:

  • Put the tamari, orange juice, ginger, garlic, honey and chilli flakes in a small saucepan with 100ml cold water and bring to the boil. Cook for 3-5 mins, boiling hard until well reduced, glossy and slightly syrupy. Remove from the heat, pour into a shallow dish and leave to cool.
  • Thread the beef onto 4 soaked wooden or metal skewers. Place in the marinade, turn and brush until well coated. Cover with cling film and marinate for 30 mins.
  • While the beef is marinating, prepare the salad. Half-fill a medium pan with water and bring to the boil. Cook the rice for about 20 mins or following pack instructions until tender. Rinse in a sieve under running water until cold, then drain well. Tip into a large bowl.
  • Add the cucumber, carrots, spring onions, radishes, coriander, mint, oil, lime zest and juice, and toss well together well. Season with a little black pepper. Divide between two plates and top with a sprinkling of nuts and extra herbs to garnish.
  • Heat the grill to high. (You could also cook the skewers on a non-stick griddle pan.) Put the skewers on a rack above a foil-lined baking tray, reserving any excess marinade. Grill the skewers close to the heat for 3-5 mins each side or until done to your liking. Brush with more marinade when they are turned. They should look sticky and glossy when cooked. Serve hot or cold with the rice salad.

2 cans (8 ounces each) pineapple chunks
1 bottle (10 ounces) teriyaki baste and glaze
3 tablespoons minced fresh gingerroot
1 pound beef tenderloin steaks, cut into 1-inch pieces
HORSERADISH CREAM SAUCE:
1 cup (8 ounces) sour cream
1 tablespoon prepared horseradish

Steps:

  • Drain pineapple chunks, reserving juice. In a large bowl or shallow dish, combine teriyaki, ginger and the pineapple juice. Add beef and turn to coat. Refrigerate for up to 2 hours. Drain beef, discarding marinade., On 16 soaked wooden appetizer skewers, alternately thread beef and pineapple. On a lightly greased grill rack, cook kabobs, covered, over medium heat until beef reaches desired doneness, 6-8 minutes, turning once., In a small bowl, combine sour cream and horseradish; serve with kabobs.
