Wanted a new twist on braised pork shoulder so paired 2 simple ingredients to create a yummy sauce to a browned roast...there were no leftovers! Great served with rice or noodles with cooked carrots and broccoli.

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 275 degrees F (135 degrees C).
- Heat oil in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Sprinkle roast on both sides with seasoned salt. Place into the hot oil and brown for 2 to 3 minutes per side. Add garlic and saute just until slightly browned, about 1 minute. Remove from the heat and drain excess oil.
- Mix teriyaki sauce, marmalade, and water together in a small bowl; pour over browned roast. Cover with the lid.
- Bake in the preheated oven until roast is fork-tender, 2 to 3 hours. Shred roast with 2 forks and pour teriyaki juices over.

- Cut roast in half. In a large skillet, brown roast in oil; place in a 5-qt. slow cooker. Add the onion, 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce and pineapple juice. Cover and cook on low for 7-9 hours or until meat is tender., Remove roast; set aside. In a small bowl, combine flour and remaining teriyaki sauce until smooth; stir into cooking juices. Cover and cook on high for 30-40 minutes or until thickened., Shred meat with two forks; return to the slow cooker and heat through. Spoon 1/2 cup onto each bun; top with a pineapple slice.

- In the bowl of a slow cooker, whisk together the rice vinegar, water, soy sauce, honey, canola oil, ginger and garlic.
- Add the pork tenderloins and turn to coat with the sauce.
- Cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours, or until the pork is very tender and falls apart when pulled with a fork.
- Transfer the pork to a cutting board. Shred, using two forks or your fingers (if cool enough).
- Pour the sauce into a small saucepan. In a small bowl, whisk together the cornstarch and water, then add to the sauce.
- Bring the sauce to a boil over medium heat, whisking frequently. Cook until the sauce is slightly thickened, 7 to 8 minutes.
- Return the pork to the slow cooker to keep warm and toss with sauce.

- Prepare the pork shoulder for roasting. Preheat your oven to 350F/177C. Measure out all of the ingredients for the broth: water, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame seed oil and mirin. Pour the broth into a sauce pan and bring to a simmer of medium heat. Simmer for a few minutes to thicken the sauce. Reserve ¼ cup of the sauce for later. Pour prepared sauce over the pulled pork and toss to coat all of the meat.
