4 cups fresh green beans, diced
1 large onion, diced
4 tablespoons minced garlic
1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
olive oil flavored cooking spray

Steps:

  • Spray frying pan liberally with olive oil spray.
  • Saute green beans first over medium/medium-high heat, adding onion after about 1 minute.
  • After these have cooked for about 2 minutes, add garlic.
  • After another minute, top off with teriyaki sauce until all veggies are evenly coated. Green beans should be browned yet still crisp.
  • Serve immediately.

2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
1 tablespoon honey
2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
1 small red pepper, cut into strips
1 small onion, cut into strips
1 1/2 lbs fresh green beans or 1 1/2 lbs frozen green beans, trimmed and steamed until tender
1/2 cup coarsely chopped cashews, toasted

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, combine teriyaki sauce and honey; set aside.
  • In a large saute pan, melt butter over medium-high heat.
  • Add pepper and onion, saute for 5 to 6 minutes, or until tender.
  • Add beans, cashews, and teriyaki-honey mixture; toss gently until heated through.

1 1/2 lb fresh, cleaned green beans
2 clove sliced garlic
1/4 c low sodium teriyaki sauce
1 Tbsp fresh cracked black pepper
1 tsp fine sea salt

Steps:

  • 1. Prep Pre Heat oven to 425 Lightly grease a large baking sheet Clean green beans and place in large bowl Add all ingredients,you can then immediately roast, but I find it tastes better if you let it sit in the bowl and marinate for 10-15 minutes
  • 2. Cook Evenly spread beans onto baking sheet Roast for 10 minutes, take out and stir around, roast for another 10 minutes or until your desired tenderness
  • 3. Recommendations Serve over white rice for a vegetarian meal Also delicious with grilled steak or chicken
