Use this creamy and tangy dip for dipping fruit or as a fruit salad dressing. It's excellent for strawberries. Most people don't know there's tequila in it. They only know that it is really yummy!

1 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons tequila
2 tablespoons sweetened lime juice
¼ cup sugar

Steps:

Stir together the sour cream, tequila, lime juice, and sugar in a small serving bowl.

No Velveeta here! Found this in Food and Wine's Best of the Best recipes. I usually make my [recipe=345329] College Girl's Best Queso Ever[/recipe] but this one sounds good too! Rick Bayless is super awesome.

Ingredients

1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tomatoes, 1/4 inch dice
2 jalapenos, seeded and minced
1 onion, 1/4 inch dice
salt
2 tablespoons tequila
1/2 lb monterey jack cheese, shredded (3 cups)
1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
tortilla chips

Steps:

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil. Add teh tomatoes, jalapenos, onion, and a large pinch of salt and cook over moderately high heat. stirring often, until softened, about 5 minutes. Add the tequila and cook, stirring frequently, until the pan looks dry, about 2 minutes.
Reduce the heat to low. Add the cheese and cook, stirring constantly until fully melted, about 30 seconds. Quickly transfer the cheeese dip to a serving bowl. Sprinkle with the cilantro and serve immediately with hips.

2 medium ripe avocados , peeled and seeded
2 Tbsp lime juice
2 pkg cream cheese (3-ounce) softened
3 Tbsp tequila
1/2 tsp hot sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
- lime wedges and salt

Steps:

1. Mash avocados; stir in lime juice, and set aside. Beat cream cheese at medium speed with electric mixer until smooth stir; in tequila, hot sauce, salt, and pepper. Stir in avocado; set aside.
2. Rub rim of serving bowl with lime wedge. Put salt on plate; dip rim of bowl in salt, coating well. Spoon dip into bowl; garnish, if desired. Serve with nacho chips.

2 cups sour cream
3 tablespoons sugar
3 tablespoons tequila
1 tablespoon finely grated lime zest (grated rind)
1 tablespoon finely grated orange zest
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
3 tablespoons ground almonds

Steps:

Combine all ingredients and blend well.
Cover and chill overnight.
(In a pinch several hours will do, but better if left overnight).
Serve with fresh fruit.
