THE MOST TENDER COUNTRY STYLE HONEY BBQ RIBS
This is a personal recipe i came to figure out on my own through trial and error, i am not a huge fan of chewy or hard ribs so i found a way to make the meat extremely tender and everyone i make these ribs for has LOVED them, i hope who ever tries my recipe enjoys them as well! I preffer to use country style ribs without the bone, that way you get more meat for your money. As far as sause i love kraft's honey barbecue sause. You can use a cookie sheet for this but i have found that a baking dish with handles works a lot better and easier with the tinfoil

Steps:
- 1. In a dish sprinkle salt, pepper, garlic salt, seasoning salt and minced onion flakes all over, then take each slice of rib and rub both sides with the seasoning mixture. Make sure each rib is well coated.
- 2. Line a baking dish with heavy duty foil and spray with pam, preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- 3. Place ribs inside the baking dish and inside the oven for 20minutes until meat is browned on both sides. You can flip them over halfway.
- 4. Take ribs out and brush on honey bbq sauce on top of ribs generously and put back in oven for another 20minutes until sauce is caramelized. Once sauce is caramelized add more sauce to the top of the ribs.
- 5. Cover the baking dish with foil well to make sure no steam can come out but try not to touch the top of the ribs. Make sure all sides are well sealed and put back into the oven.
- 6. Turn oven down to 250 degrees so sauce won't burn and let them bake for 2-3 hours. After two hours have passed, pull back a corner of the foil and poke one of the ribs with a fork to check the tenderness of the meat, if you desire them to be even more tender put the tinfoil back over tightly and let them sit for another hour.
- 7. After ribs are done peel back foil carefully as steam will come out, take out ribs cover with sauce again and they are ready to be served!

Steps:
- Preheat your oven to 325 degrees F.
- Arrange the ribs in a single layer in an ungreased 9 X 13-inch rimmed baking dish.
- Mix together the dry rub ingredients, and sprinkle the rub on top of the ribs.
- Cover the baking dish tightly with heavy duty foil (or a double layer of regular foil), and bake until the ribs are very tender, about 2 hours.
- With a slotted spatula, remove the cooked ribs to a broiler-safe, foil-lined, rimmed baking sheet. Either flip them or place them on their side, so that the fat is exposed to the heating element. The goal is to brown it.
- Switch the oven to broil on high ( 500°F) and set an oven rack 6 inches below the heating element (not directly below).
- Baste the ribs with the pan juices, then broil them until the fat is browned, 3-4 minutes.
- Baste the ribs one more time with the pan juices and serve.

TENDER COUNTRY RIBS
Whenever I need a surefire company pleaser, I cook up these scrumptious ribs. Usually, I double or triple the recipe, since the ribs freeze well and keep their flavor when reheated. The meat's tender and tasty every time.

Steps:
- Line a baking sheet with a cooling rack. Working in batches, season the pork ribs on all sides with kosher salt and black pepper and lightly toss in flour. Transfer the ribs to the baking sheet and set aside.
- Add 1 tablespoon of the oil to a large cast iron skillet or dutch oven (with a lid) over medium/medium high heat. When the oil is warm and shimmering, brown the ribs in batches, turning on all sides until golden, about 15-20 minutes per batch. Be careful not to overcrowd the pan or the ribs will steam and won't get that delicious golden crust.
- Transfer the browned ribs back to the baking sheet and wipe any burned pieces out of the pan. Add the remaining oil, and continue browning the rest of the ribs.
- While the ribs are cooking, mix the BBQ sauce ingredients together and preheat the oven to 325°F.
- Add all of the ribs back to the dutch oven, snuggling them evenly together. Scatter the tops with the sliced onions. Whisk the BBQ sauce and pour evenly over the onions and ribs.
- Cover tightly with the lid and bake for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until the onions are soft and jammy and the pork is tender. Midway through cooking, I usually open the oven and spoon the sauce over the ribs and onions.
- Skim any excess fat from the sauce if needed (depending on how fatty the ribs are) and serve hot with au gratin or mashed potatoes with the sauce and onions spooned on top.

Steps:
- Preheat your oven to 300°F. Salt and pepper both sides of your ribs and place in a single layer in your pan, fattier side up.
- Cover the pan tightly with foil and bake for 2 hours. Carefully (steam and liquid in the tray will be hot!) remove ribs from the oven and check the meat. They should be starting to become tender. If they still feel tough, re-cover them and place them back in the oven for 15 to 30 minutes.
- Transfer ribs to a plate and drain liquid from the pan. Return ribs to tray and brush with a generous coating of BBQ sauce.
- Turn oven down to 275°F and bake ribs, uncovered, for 1 hour more, or until you can pull the meat apart with a fork (if your ribs were small and already pretty tender when you put them back in the oven, start checking after 20 minutes). Brush with another coat of BBQ sauce, rest for 5 minutes, serve and enjoy!

OVEN BAKED COUNTRY-STYLE RIBS
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 250 degrees F.
- Lay the ribs on your cutting board, then sprinkle Copycat Rib Tickler Rub over all sides of the pork.
- Place the ribs bone-side down lined up in a 9X13 pan or casserole dish.
- Cover with parchment and foil and bake for four hours. Ovens vary so check at 3 ½ hours and if the bone pulls right out, they are ready to come out of the oven. Ours took four hours.
- Carefully remove ribs one at a time from the casserole dish and lay flat on a foil-lined sheet pan. They are really delicate so to keep from falling apart as you lift, support one side with a spatula and then lift out with tongs.
- Brush on BBQ sauce and broil until they start to brown. Carefully flip, brush on more sauce, and broil again until they are slightly browned, then serve.

EASY FALL OFF THE BONE OVEN-BAKED RIBS
Low and slow cooking make these oven-baked ribs fall off the bone tender. Once baked, we like to add our sweet and spicy barbecue sauce to the ribs, but use whatever you love. For the most tender ribs, we remove the thin membrane covering the back of the rack. Depending on where you have purchased ribs, this may already be done for you. If not, instructions are in the notes section below. FAQ: We call for baby back ribs in the recipe, but other types of ribs (spareribs, country-style, St. Louis-style) will work with this recipe. Cook time should be similar, we recommend that you check on the ribs while they cook to see how they are progressing. FAQ: Doubling or tripling the recipe below should not change the recipe method or bake time. You might need to use two pans for baking.

Steps:
- Heat oven to 275° Fahrenheit (135C).
- If the ribs still have the thin membrane covering the back of the rack, remove it. See how in the notes section below.
- Season both sides of the ribs with a generous amount of salt and pepper. If you are using a spice rub, add season the ribs with it now. Place the ribs, meat-side up, into a large roasting pan or rimmed baking sheet. (It may be necessary to cut the ribs in half for them to fit into the pan).
- Cover the pan or baking sheet tightly with aluminum foil, and then bake until the meat falls easily from the bones, 2 ½ to 3 ½ hours. We like to check the ribs after 2 hours to see how they are progressing. The ribs are done when the meat is cooked through and tender.
- While the ribs bake, make the barbecue sauce. Heat the olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add the onions and cook until soft and translucent, 5 to 8 minutes. Stir in the cumin and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
- Add the ketchup, hot chili sauce, brown sugar, and apple cider vinegar. Stir to combine, season with salt then cook for 2 minutes. Set aside in preparation for the ribs to finish roasting.
- Remove the ribs from the oven, discard the aluminum foil and generously brush both sides with barbecue sauce.
- Optional: Move an oven rack near the top of the oven. Turn broiler to high and broil the ribs for 3-4 minutes, just until the barbecue sauce begins to caramelize. (Keep a close eye on the ribs while they broil so the sauce does not burn.)
- Store baked ribs, in an airtight container, in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Freeze, wrapped in foil or freezer paper and in an airtight container, for up to 3 months. Thaw in the refrigerator, and then reheat.
- To reheat the ribs, wrap in foil or parchment paper and place into a 300°F oven until warmed through, about 30 minutes. If you have some leftover, slather some extra sauce that's been warmed over the ribs before serving.
