Walnut pieces and seedless red grapes bring a bit of crunchy and sweet to this tasty tuna salad for two.

Yield Makes 2 servings, 1/2 cup tuna mixture and 16 crackers.

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 can (6 oz. ) white tuna in water, drained, flaked
2 Tbsp. MIRACLE WHIP Light Dressing
1/4 cup walnut pieces
1/4 cup halved seedless red grapes
32 thin wheat snack crackers

Steps:

  • Mix tuna with dressing in medium bowl.
  • Stir in walnuts and grapes. Serve with crackers.

Something a little different to have on some nice crisp torn lettuce leaves or in a sandwich. Gala and Pink Lady apples are my favorites for this.

1 (5 ounce) can chunk light tuna, drained
¼ cup creamy salad dressing (such as Miracle Whip®)
1 hard-boiled egg, chopped
½ apple, diced
½ cup chopped toasted pecans
salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Stir the tuna, salad dressing, egg, apple, and pecans together in a bowl; season with salt and pepper. Chill in refrigerator at least 1 hour before serving.

Tuna salad with a twist: celery and hard-cooked egg. It's a delicious change from the standard tuna salad.

2 (6 1/2 ounce) cans tuna, drained and flaked
1/2 cup mayonnaise
3/4 cup thinly sliced celery
1 hard-boiled egg, chopped
1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley

Steps:

  • In medium bowl, combine all ingredients.
  • Cover and chill about one hour to blend flavors.
  • Serve on crackers, bread, or a bed of mixed greens.
  • Optional: You may also add to the above 1/4 cup sliced stuffed Spanish olives and/or 1 tablespoon finely chopped onion.
