2 3/4 cups water
3 teaspoons powdered chai
2 teaspoons sugar, or more to your taste
3/4 cup milk

Steps:

  • Bring the water to a boil on the stove. Add the chai and the sugar. Cook for 3 minutes and add the milk. Return to a boil. Pour through a strainer and into mugs and serve.

4 chai tea bags (recommended: Yogi brand)
3/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
3/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Add the water to a large pot and bring it to a boil. Remove the pot from the heat, add the tea bags and let steep for 10 minutes.
  • Remove the tea bags and stir in the remaining ingredients. Pour into a pitcher and chill until cold. Serve over ice.

Steps:

  • Put 2 cups water, the milk, fennel seeds, sugar, black tea, green cardamom pods, cloves, ginger, brown cardamom pods and cinnamon stick into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Lower the heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Strain into teacups.

4 whole cloves
2 whole peppercorns
4 tea bags
4 teaspoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1 cinnamon stick (3 inches)
2-1/2 cups boiling water
2 cups 2% milk

Steps:

  • Place cloves and peppercorns in a large bowl; with the end of a wooden spoon handle, crush spices until aromas are released., Add the tea bags, sugar, ginger, cinnamon stick and boiling water. Cover and steep for 6 minutes. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, heat the milk., Strain tea, discarding spices and tea bags. Stir in hot milk. Pour into mugs.

  • Remove pot from heat and let stand for 5 minutes.
