TARRAGON CHICKEN MARINADE

I love tarragon. This recipe uses that wonderful herb from my herb garden. I guess it could be used on seafood and steamed veggies as well. Easy and delish!

Number Of Ingredients 6

1/2 cup dry white wine
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons fresh tarragon, stripped from stems and chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup olive oil

Steps:

  • In med bowl whisk together first 5 ingredients.
  • Continue whisking and whisk in oil slowly and continuously
  • Marinade chicken 2 hours or more.
  • Store in fridge up to 1 week. Shake before using.

tarragon lime marinade
1/2 c lime juice
1/4 c olive oil
1 tsp tarragon
1 tsp onion salt
1/4 tsp fresh ground black pepper
combine all, brush over chicken and marinade 3 hrs. in the refrigerator, discard marinade.

- cinnamon soy sauce marinade
2/3 c soy sauce
1/4 c red wine (of your choice)
1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 clove garlic, peeled and chopped
2 Tbsp white sugar
combine all, use as marinade over chicken, pork, seafood or vegetables. always discard marinade when using on meats.

1/2 c cooking wine
1/2 Tbsp olive oil
1 1/2 Tbsp soy sauce
1 1/2 Tbsp worcestershire sauce
1/4 Tbsp dijon mustard
1/4 tsp kosher salt
1/4 tsp fresh ground black pepper
1 small clove garlic, minced
1/2 c chopped fresh cilantro
combine all, add to your chicken, refrigerate for about 4 hours. discard marinate and then bbq!

1/2 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 teaspoons soy sauce
1 garlic clove, minced
1 1/2 teaspoons chopped fresh tarragon
2 whole chicken breasts, halved
3 medium carrots, cut into 1 inch pieces
1 medium zucchini, cut into 1 inch pieces
1 large onion, cut into 1 inch pieces

Steps:

  • For marinade, combine vinegar, oil, soy sauce, garlic and tarragon.
  • Reserve 1/4 cup of marinade.
  • Place chicken in resealable plastic bag, turn to coat chicken.
  • Marinate in refrigerator 1 to 12 hours.
  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Drain chicken, discard marinade.
  • Place chicken in shallow baking pan.
  • Toss vegetables with reserved 1/4 cup marinade.
  • Place in 1 1/2 quart casserole dish, cover.
  • Bake chicken and vegetables 25 minutes.
  • Remove cover from vegetables.
  • Bake 20 minutes more or until chicken is tender and no longer pick and vegetables are tender.

MARINADE FOR STEAK (PORTERHOUSE, SIRLOIN OR ANY BEEF CUTS)



Marinade for Steak (Porterhouse, Sirloin or Any Beef Cuts) image

This is a simple marinade for any beef cuts, the longer you marinate the more the flavour will soak into the meat. My carnivores (Little Miss (DD) and Hubby) really enjoyed it. I didn't mind it on chicken either.

Number Of Ingredients 7

2 porterhouse steaks (different steak can be used)
2 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon fresh gingerroot or 1 teaspoon ginger, in a jar
1 garlic cloves, crushed or 1 teaspoon garlic, in a jar
1 teaspoon dried tarragon (or your favorite spice)
1/3 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar

Steps:

  • In a large shallow bowl combine the sugar, ginger, garlic, tarragon, soy sauce and vinegar, mix until sugar has dissolved.
  • Add meat into the marinade mixture, mix.
  • Cover with cling wrap and allow to marinate at least 30 minutes, turning once or twice.
  • Place steak on BBQ or grill, cook then brushing with marinade, flip steak once, cook until done or according to your taste.
  • Remove off heat and serve immediately with salad and potato dish.
