12-SECOND COLESLAW
When people think of coleslaw, they think of that bowl of soggy, shredded cabbage sitting at the end of the picnic table. This is a completely different approach; a fresh-shredded cabbage prepared as a fast (12 seconds adding ingredients, 30 seconds to mix), crisp, low-cal, low-carb, slightly spicy, and delicious side dish that you should be eating as part of your regular veggie side-dish rotation. Serve immediately after mixing.

TANYA'S FAMOUS ANGEL HAIR COLE SLAW
When my Mom passed away in 2008 an old high school friend of my brothers we had found out lived right around the corner from her house. So Tanya was so sweet to bring over food and the one thing that EVERYONE raved about was her cole slaw. I finally got the recipe and can't wait to fix it myself. Its not your normal recipe but boy oh boy is it ever so good!!

Steps:
- simmer for 10 minutes sugar,canola oil and white vinegar
- in a bowl put in the package of angel hair cole slaw adding bell pepper and onion. ( If your not fond of alot of these add what you want)
- Pour the heated mixture over the top of the cole slaw and mix. Add your salt and cayenne to your taste. Let it come to room temperature before placing in the frig. Chill and serve..

- Thinly slice cabbage. To make cabbage thin and angel hair like, use spiral cutter or mandolin. Set aside.
- Toss cabbage in dressing. Serve immediately or cover and chill a couple hours to allow dressing to absorb. If not serving same day, do not combine cabbage with dressing to keep cabbage crisp. Serve with fresh ground pepper, if desired.
