1/4 cup whole-grain mustard
1/4 cup steak sauce
1 tablespoon crushed garlic
1 tablespoon dried parsley
4 rib-eye steaks, approximately 1 1/2 to 2 pounds total
2 tablespoons steak seasoning

Steps:

  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat
  • In a large resealable plastic bag combine mustard, steak sauce, garlic, and parsley. Massage the bag to combine the ingredients.
  • Place steak into bag with the marinade and massage bag to coat steaks. Allow to marinate for a least 30 minutes or as long as overnight, refrigerated.
  • Remove steaks from bag and sprinkle both sides with the steak seasoning. Place on a well oiled grill and cook 4 minutes per side for medium-rare.

1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
1/2 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
1 tablespoon ketchup
2 teaspoons dry mustard
4 dashes Worcestershire sauce
1 cube beef bouillon, crumbled (or powdered beef base)
Salt and pepper
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 whole onion, halved and thinly sliced (or diced if you prefer)
2 cups beef broth, more if needed for thinning
1 tablespoon ketchup
1 teaspoon seasoning sauce, such as Kitchen Bouquet, optional
4 dashes Worcestershire
1 teaspoon cornstarch, optional
Salt and pepper

Steps:

  • For the meat mixture: Combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, ketchup, dry mustard, Worcestershire sauce, bouillon and some salt and pepper. Knead until all combined. Form into 4 to 6 oval patties, and then make lines across the patties to give them a "steak" appearance.
  • Fry the patties in a skillet with the butter and oil over medium-high heat on both sides until no longer pink in the middle. Remove from the skillet and pour off any excess grease.
  • For the gravy: Reduce the heat to medium and add in the sliced onions. Stir and cook until golden brown and somewhat soft, for several minutes. Add the beef stock, ketchup, seasoning sauce, if using, and the Worcestershire. Then combine the cornstarch with a little beef broth and add to the sauce if using. Stir and cook to reduce.
  • Add a sprinkle of salt and pepper and more broth if needed for thinning. Then return the patties to the gravy. Spoon the gravy over the top and let them simmer and heat back up for a couple of minutes.

1 lb Ground beef
1/2 tsp Ground black pepper
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 cup Bread crumbs
1/2 cup Butter
1 cup Mushroom (cut into strips)
2 tsp Flour
1 cup Beef stock
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 cup Water
1 tbsp Garlic powder

Steps:

  • In a bowl, season the ground beef with pepper, garlic powder, salt and breadcrumbs.
  • Then pour-in the Worcestershire sauce. Mix well.
  • Scoop around 4 tablespoons of mixture and roll into a ball. Flatten and place in a clean plate. Set aside.
  • Heat butter in frying pan. Then fry the beef over low heat until brown. Remove from the pan, set aside.
  • In the same pan, cook mushroom and stir for 5 minutes.
  • Then put the flour and cook for another 5 minutes.
  • After 5 minutes, gradually pour the beef stock and water. Stir continuously until it boils.
  • Then add the cooked beef and simmer for another 10 minutes.
  • Serve while hot. Enjoy!

2 lbs ground beef
1/3 cup onions (chopped)
1 egg
1/2 cup bread crumbs
2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp parsley
1 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp crushed red peppers
4 cups beef broth
3 Tbsp flour
2 cups onions, (chopped)
3 cloves garlic, (minced)
8 oz mushrooms, (sliced)
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper

Steps:

  • In a medium mixing bowl, mix ground beef, onions, egg, bread crumbs, Worcestershire sauce, parsley, crushed red peppers and pepper together. Divide into equal amounts and shape into oval patties about 1/2 inch thick. Should get 5 or 6.
  • Heat a cast iron pan or large frying pan over medium high heat and cooked each patty for about 4-5 minutes on each side.
  • Once cooked on both sides, remove from the pan and place on a plate.
  • Reduce heat to medium, add onions and garlic to the pan along with the steak drippings. Cook for 3-4 minutes. Stir in mushrooms and continue cooking for another few minutes.
  • Sprinkle flour over the mushrooms and onions, stir and cook for another minute or so.
  • Next, add beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Stir for a few minutes and place the Salisbury steaks back into the pan and cover with the gravy mixture.
  • Cover pan and cook for about 20-30 minutes gently stirring occasionally. The gravy will also thicken up as it cools so make sure not to cook it too long or your gravy will be too thick. If that happens, just add a little more beef broth to thin it out.
  • Serve over mashed potatoes with a delicious vegetable.
  • Enjoy!
  • *And if the gravy seems to thin, mix 1 tsp corn starch with 1/8 cup water, then add to pan, stir and let simmer for a few more minutes.

1 can (10 3/4 oz) condensed golden mushroom soup
1 (1 oz) packet au jus gravy mix
3/4 cup water

Steps:

  • Mix together the ground beef, onion soup mix, bread crumbs and the milk. The milk helps tenderize the beef, so it gives that melt in your mouth taste.
  • Next, shape the beef into patties, then lightly dredge them in the flour. Heat up the oil and brown the patties, about 2 minutes on each side.
  • In the slow cooker, add the can soups, au jus mix, water, onions, and mushrooms, and mix it up. Place the patties into the gravy mixture, and put the slow cooker on low.

1 lb lean ground sirloin
1 medium onion, diced
1 (14 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained and divided
2 tablespoons butter
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
11 1/2 ounces beef consomme (I use Campbells)
2 tablespoons cornstarch
3 tablespoons water

Steps:

  • Corse chop 1/2 of the drained can of mushrooms.
  • Saute onions and chopped mushrooms in butter over medium heat just until the onions are tender. Remove from heat and let cool.
  • In a large bowl, mix ground sirloin, bread crumbs, egg, worcestershire sauce, horseradish, spices and cooled onion/mushroom mixture together and make 4 oval patties.
  • Fry or broil the 4 patties to desired doneness ( I like medium well).
  • While the steaks are cooking, add the consomme' and remaining 1/2 can of mushrooms to a medium sauce pan and bring to a simmer.
  • Mix the cornstarch and water together and use to thicken the gravy mixture to the desired thickness just before serving.

8 ounces fresh sliced mushrooms (1 package, divided)
½ pound ground beef
½ pound ground turkey
¾ cup onion (diced and divided)
3 Tablespoons tomato paste (divided)
1 egg
½ cup oatmeal (ground in blender)
salt and pepper to taste
14 ounces low sodium beef broth (1 can, divided)
2 Tablespoons flour
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
3 Tablespoons olive oil
20 ounces frozen mashed cauliflower (1 package)
2 Tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped, optional garnish)

Steps:

  • Place 1/2 cup diced mushrooms in a large mixing bowl.
  • Add the ground beef, ground turkey, 1/2 cup diced onion, 2 Tablespoons tomato paste, egg, ground oatmeal, salt, pepper and 1/4 cup beef broth.
  • Mix together well and form into 1 1/2 inch meatballs; set aside.
  • In another bowl combine flour, remaining beef broth, remaining 1/4 cup onion, tomato paste, and Worcestershire sauce.

  • Mix all the steak ingredients (beef, eggs, Baking Blend, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and black pepper) together. Form into 8 oval-shaped patties.

Bring to boil to thicken, then reduce heat to simmer. Pour in Worcestershire sauce. Slide in browned turkey steaks and spoon sauce over to coat. Add in cooked mushrooms and onions overtop and cover. Simmer 10 minutes or until gravy thickens even more and turkey steaks and cooked thoroughly.
