Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375 Remove dough from crescent roll container. Place dough in a lightly sprayed 9 x 13 pan, pressing seams together to form one large piece of dough. Bake for approximately 10 minutes or until the dough is cooked through and browning on top. Meanwhile, in a fry pan, combine beef, taco seasoning and onion and saute until browned. Add salsa and refried beans. Mix well. When baking time is complete, remove crust from oven and sprinkle 1/2 C of cheddar on top of the baked crust. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar over the beef mixture and bake in the oven for 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Remove from oven and sprinkle the lettuce and fresh tomato over the top. On serving, garnish with a dollop of sour cream.

TACO CRESCENT BAKE
A friend shared the recipe with me, and I've prepared it monthly ever since. The crust is made from refrigerated crescent roll dough. While the ground beef is browning, I simply press the dough into a baking dish. Guest always comment on the tasty crust as well as the zesty filling and crunchy topping.-Patricia Eckard, Singers Glen, Virginia
