My brother use to make this when we would come to visit. I think this was probably the only dish he knew how to cook. It is really good.

SWEET AND SOUR PASTA SALAD
This has been made by my family for years; not sure where it came from. Great for cookouts or picnics since there is no mayo. Best if made the day before to let flavors blend. Serve with your favorite chicken, pork, or beef as a refreshing side dish. You can substitute red, yellow, or orange peppers for the green to add extra color to this dish.

SWEET MACARONI SALAD
A sweet out-of-the-ordinary dressing makes this macaroni salad special. My aunt gave me the recipe and it has become one of my favorites. I occasionally leave out the green pepper if I know that people don't like it, and it still tastes great. -Idalee Scholz, Cocoa Beach, Florida

SWEET AND SOUR PASTA SALAD
this salad is usually served up at a BBQ and is always a big hit. Your guests will try and guess the ingredients, but none of them will get it right! this salad always tastes better the next day, so it is best to make it either the night before or first thing in the morning. For a vegetarian option, omit the bacon.
