Homemade and delicious Korean-influenced marinated and glazed sweet and spicy shrimp. Serve with salad, or over rice, pasta, or potatoes. Garnish with more sesame seeds.

Steps:
- Combine soy sauce, 2 minced scallions, garlic, sesame seeds, cornstarch, ginger, mirin, sugar, red pepper flakes, and sesame oil in a bowl to make marinade.
- Place shrimp in a large resealable plastic bag; pour in marinade. Seal the bag and shake to coat shrimp. Place in refrigerator and marinate for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat; add shrimp. Cook, turning and basting a few times with leftover marinade, 5 to 7 minutes. Transfer shrimp to a bowl, reserving oil in the skillet.
- Pour 3 tablespoons of the marinade and gochujang to the skillet over medium heat. Cook and stir until thickened, about 2 minutes. Brush glaze over cooked shrimp or use as a dip. Sprinkle the remaining minced scallion on top.

- Stir together soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, crushed red pepper and cornstarch until cornstarch is dissolved; set aside.
- Heat oil in 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Stir-fry onion, bell pepper and carrot in oil 2 to 3 minutes or until crisp-tender.
- Stir in soy sauce mixture and shrimp. Stir-fry 3 to 5 minutes, until shrimp are pink and firm and sauce is thickened. Serve over rice.

- Season shrimp with salt and pepper. Heat a large, heavy skillet (preferably cast iron) over high; swirl in 2 tablespoons oil. Add shrimp and cook, stirring occasionally, until opaque, 1 to 2 minutes; transfer to a plate. Add remaining 1 tablespoon oil and bell pepper to skillet; cook, stirring, until pepper has softened, about 3 minutes. Add garlic, ginger, pineapple, and scallions; cook 1 minute.

- Heat the oil in a large nonstick skillet or wok over high heat. Add the garlic and ginger and cook, stirring, until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Add the shrimp and stir fry until pink but still translucent in the middle, about 2 minutes. Transfer the shrimp to a medium bowl with a slotted spoon. Add the onions and peppers to the skillet and cook, stirring, until lightly browned, about 3 minutes. Return the shrimp to the skillet along with the Thai Style Sweet & Spicy Chili Cooking Sauce. - Whisk together the maple syrup, soy sauce, garlic, ginger and chili garlic sauce. Pour 3 tablespoons of the marinade into a ziplock bag.
- Pour the remaining marinade into a small saucepan. Set aside.
- Add the shrimp to the ziplock bag, seal and massage to coat the shrimp. Alternatively, marinate the shrimp in a bowl. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes and up to 4 hours.
- Whisk the cornstarch into the marinade in the saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat. Cook until slightly thickened, 2 to 3 minutes.
- Heat a large ceramic, nonstick or cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Transfer the shrimp to the skillet and discard the marinade in the bag.
- Cook for 1 minute. Flip the shrimp and add the thickened sauce. Cook until the shrimp is just cooked through, 1 to 2 minutes.

- Start by preparing the shrimp: devein them and remove the shell right up to the tail. Make 4 to 5 small notches on the "belly" of each shrimp. This will prevent them from curling up during frying.
- Toss the shrimp in cornstarch and salt.
- Heat up oil in a pot.
- In a medium bowl, mix egg with water.
- Add flour and stir in with a fork. Do not overmix.
- Once the oil reaches 340 to 360 degrees F, dip each shrimp in batter and gently place in the oil.
- Fry 4 to 5 shrimp at a time, not to overcrowd the pot and lower the oil temperature.
- Fry each shrimp 2 to 3 minutes per side. Remove onto a plate with paper towel.
- Repeat with all shrimp.
- Serve with soy sauce or Asian dipping sauce.
