SUSIE SLAW
I don't know who Susie is, but my mom has made this salad for years and it is my absolute favorite! Everyone requests this dish whenever we go to barbecues! Don't add the dressing until right before serving or the salad will become soggy. I have made this with lower-fat versions of the dressing ingredients with good results, so feel free to lighten it up.

Steps:
- Place salad ingredients in a large bowl.
- Mix dressing ingredients in a small bowl.
- Right before serving, add dressing to salad, and mix very well.

SUSIE RIGGIES
The basis of this recipe come from AllRecipes, however, I've changed it up some and it's my husband's favorite recipe to request. He has dubbed this Susie Riggies (after me!). This a creamy tomato based pasta dish that just melts in your mouth!

Steps:
- In a large saucepan, heat oil and melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and shallots and saute until soft, then add chicken, season with salt and pepper to taste and saute for 8 to 10 minutes, or until halfway cooked.
- Add peppers and stir in tomato sauce, reduce heat to low and simmer about 10 minutes. Add sherry and simmer for another 10 minutes, then stir in cream and simmer for 10 minutes more.
- Toss all with hot cooked pasta and serve.

Steps:
- Whisk eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper together in a bowl.
- Spray a 2-quart baking dish with cooking spray. Spread bread pieces out in an even layer on the bottom of the prepared dish; top with sausage, Monterey Jack cheese, egg mixture, and Cheddar cheese, respectively. Cover the baking dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate, 8 hours to overnight.
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Remove casserole from refrigerator and let sit at room temperature for 15 minutes.
- Bake casserole in the preheated oven until bubbling and hot throughout, about 45 minutes.

Steps:
- In a tall glass add yeast and sugar. Add 1 1/3 cups warm water (half of the water). Mix well and set aside.
- In another tall glass add 2 eggs and 1 1/3 cups warm water (other half of the water). Mix well and set aside.
- Add flour to a large mixing bowl. Add salt and Crisco and mix well on low to medium speed.
- Alternately add yeast and egg mixture. Work into a dough consistency. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Four (4) hours before cooking.
- Roll the dough out or pinch off rolls and cut or shape by hand.
- Dip edge of rolls in melted butter and fold.
- Let rise for 3 to 4 hours.
- Bake at 425 degrees preheated oven.
- When rolls start to brown, baste with butter.
- NOTE: Rolls do not have to be refrigerated. Just let rise until double in bulk. Knead. Make rolls and let rise again.

SUSIE'S CHEESE BALL
Steps:
- Mix the first 5 ingredients together.
- Then shape into two balls and roll the balls in the beef. Wrap with cling wrap.
- Put in fridge until firm. Serve with crackers.
