CHILI DOG ALA SONIC

Steps:

• Brown the ground beef.
• Add your onions, peppers, and mushrooms, browning them lightly.
• Add the worcester sauce, tomatoes, and barbecue sauce. Simmer for half an hour.
• Add the spices and kidney beans. Simmer for 1 hour.
• Add the hot dogs and cook them for 15 minutes in the sauce.
• Serve on a toasted roll. Melted Cheese optional.

STROUPE'S SUPER SONIC CHILI

Steps:

• Brown the meats with the onion and drain.
• Throw meats and remaining ingredients into a large pot and cook until it's ready.
• This really is one of those "taste it as you put it together" recipes but it is so worth the little bit of angst you may feel over not having exact measurements. Serve it with cheese, sour cream, or try it over rice for a different twist ... but don't forget the crackers or Mexican cornbread!

SUPER SONIC CHILI

Steps:

• 1. in a large pot brown ground beef, garlic and onion and drain
• 2. add chili seasoning,ground cumin, southwestern tomatos, and rotel tomatos
• 3. add tomato juice
• 4. mix in beans and stir. bring to a boil and simmer 20 mins
• 5. prepare tamales by unwrapping and cut in half
• 6. add tamales to pot and bring to boil.
• 7. serve with toppings
