Gourmet chocolate chip cookies loaded with 3 types of chocolate chips, toffe bits, and pecans. I have been asked for the recipe numerous times. My husband's grandmother (quite the gourmet herself) groaned with pleasure when she tried one of these and said it was the best cookie she's had in her entire 80 years of life. I think the recipe came from Godiva.

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter, softened (NOT margarine)
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 cup packed light brown sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
3/4 cup toffee pieces (like Health or Skor)
1/2 cup pecans, chopped

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F Grease two baking sheets.
  • Mix together flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl beat butter and sugars until fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips, toffee bits and pecans.
  • Drop dough by tablespoonfuls about 1 1/2 inches apart onto baking sheets.
  • Bake 11 to 13 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool cookies on baking sheets for 2 minutes. Remove from baking sheets and cool completely on wire racks.

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 teaspoon salt
2 sticks unsalted butter, melted and cooled slightly
1 1/2 cups packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup cocoa powder (not Dutch-process)
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 cup bittersweet chocolate chips

Steps:

  • 2 cups assorted mix-ins (such as holiday M&Ms, toffee bits, shredded coconut, peanut butter chips and/or white chocolate chunks)
  • Position racks in the upper and lower thirds of the oven and preheat to 375 degrees F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. Sift the flour, baking soda and salt into a large bowl. In a separate large bowl, whisk the melted butter, brown sugar, cocoa powder, eggs and vanilla until combined. Stir in the flour mixture with a wooden spoon until just incorporated, then stir in the chocolate chips and assorted mix-ins.
  • Drop tablespoonfuls of dough about 3 inches apart on the prepared baking sheets; smooth the tops with damp fingers. Bake, switching the pans halfway through, until puffed and set, about 12 minutes. Let cool 5 minutes on the baking sheets, then transfer to racks to cool completely.

Steps:

  • Beat 1 1/4 cups sugar and 1 stick butter with a mixer until fluffy. Beat in 1 egg and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Add the Super-Chunky Christmas Cookie mix (see Cook's Note) and mix until well combined. Scoop big round cookies (about 2 heaping tablespoons each) onto a baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees until set, about 10 to 12 minutes. Cool on a rack.

1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup butter or margarine, softened
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 eggs
1 3/4 cups Gold Medal™ white whole wheat flour
1 1/2 cups old-fashioned or quick-cooking oats
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups candy-coated chocolate candies
1 cup dry-roasted peanuts
3/4 cup raisins

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375°F. In large bowl, beat sugars, peanut butter, butter, vanilla and eggs with electric mixer on medium speed until creamy. Stir in flour, oats, baking powder and baking soda until well blended. Stir in candies, peanuts and raisins.
  • On ungreased cookie sheets, drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart; flatten slightly with bottom of drinking glass.
  • Bake 8 to 9 minutes or until light brown. Cool 2 minutes; remove from cookie sheets to cooling rack. Cool completely; store tightly covered.
