SUNRISE SURPRISE SMOOTHIE
Steps:
- Place milk, Carnation® Breakfast Essentials™ Drink, and banana in blender. While it's blending, add frozen orange juice, honey and ice. Blend until smooth. Makes 1 large smoothie or 2 if you feel like sharing!
SUNDAY SURPRISE
This was something I made one Sunday evening to use the leftover produce from the weekend. My husband liked it so much, I make it all the time now. Leftover French or Italian bread works great with the mushroom juices. This can be reduced to serve less people. Also it's great to add in whatever kinds of extra veggies you have in the house.

Steps:
- In a deep frying pan over high heat, saute butter, tofu, onion and Chinese five- spice seasoning until onions begin to appear translucent.
- Stir mushrooms into the frying pan, and reduce heat to medium-high. Let cook for 15 minutes; you will notice the mushrooms releasing their juices. Stir constantly, so that nothing gets burned onto the bottom of the pan.
- Place torn bread in the bottom of each serving dish. Sprinkle shredded cheese over top of the bread. With a ladle, scoop out mushroom-mixture (including the mushroom broth) and ladle it over the bread and cheese. Serve immediately.

I've been enjoying having a liquor cupboard, maybe a little too much. Quite the little bartender I've become, mixing drinks that I'm familar with and evening just mixing with what we have. So here a little something I thought I should share.

- Mix serve over ice. The cherries get that nice orange flavor. You can buy Maraschino juice at the store. It's in the liquor aisle. Well at least we can in Cali. But definately at the liquor store next to the grenadine. If not just use that juice from the cherries!

- 1. Fill a tall glass with crushed ice. Pour vodka over the ice, then pour both juices over the ice (use more juice if needed to fill glass) Stir to blend Thinly slice an orange and lime and use those slices as garnish (optional) on edge of glass

My inspiration for this sauce was based on a Carolina BBQ sauce, and I found that it works very well with lightly flavored white fish. Feel free to adjust the recipe porportions to meet your own preferences. Cooking is a Creative Sport.

- Combine orange juice, lemon juice, and sugar in a pitcher; stir until the sugar is dissolved. Cover pitcher with plastic wrap. Chill in refrigerator 15 minutes. Add the lemon-lime soda and the bourbon liqueur. Serve over ice.
- Refrigerate until chilled, about 15 minutes. Gently stir lemon-lime soda and bourbon liqueur into the orange juice mixture. Pour into cups filled with ice to serve.
