STRAWBERRY FROSE (FROZEN ROSE SLUSHY)



Strawberry Frose (Frozen Rose Slushy) image

A super easy grownup drink/dessert that's made with frozen rose and kind of framazing on a hot summer day. Get it in the freezer at lunch and it'll be ready in time for happy hour.

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 pound strawberries, hulled
½ cup white sugar
½ cup water
1 (750 milliliter) bottle Malbec red wine

Steps:

  • Place strawberries, sugar, and water into blender and blend until the mixture is smooth.
  • Pour mixture into a 9x13-inch baking pan; stir in the wine.
  • Freeze, stirring once about halfway through, until mixture is slushy, 4 1/2 to 5 hours.
  • Remove from freezer and stir to breakup the larger frozen clumps.

I bought Tequila Rose liqueur to make "Recipe #249488" and wanted to find another drink recipe to use it in. This one fits my cocktail needs, tasty and not packing an overwhelming alcohol hit!

1 1/2 ounces Bacardi light rum
3/4 cup strawberry daiquiri mix
6 ounces tequila rose (strawberry cream liqueur)

Steps:

  • Blend with ice until the consistency is smooth and creamy. The color should be a light pink resembling a strawberry milkshake. If not, add additional Tequila Rose and/or Strawberry Mix.
  • Serve in a chilled glass with a thick straw. Garnish with fresh strawberries and whipped cream.
  • **Note** Strawberry Mix can be substituted with Fresh or Frozen Strawberries and Sugar Syrup.
