This crispy air fryer cauliflower is a fun, delicious snack or side dish!

Number Of Ingredients 11

1 cup panko bread crumbs
1½ teaspoons smoked paprika
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon cayenne
¼ heaping teaspoon sea salt
1 large egg
2 cups small cauliflower florets
Extra-virgin olive oil (for drizzling)
Lemon wedges (for serving)
Tartar Sauce (for serving)

Steps:

  • On a rimmed tray, mix the panko, smoked paprika, garlic, onion, cayenne, and salt. In a small shallow bowl, lightly beat the egg.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 370°F.
  • Dip each cauliflower floret into the egg, coat with the panko mixture, then place onto a large plate. Drizzle the cauliflower with olive oil and place into the air fryer basket in a single layer with a little space between each floret. Don't overcrowd the basket. Work in batches if necessary. Air fry for 9 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp. The exact timing will depend on your air fryer. Repeat with any remaining cauliflower.
  • Serve with lemon wedges and tartar sauce.

For the blue cheese dip:
1/4 cup Greek yogurt
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
Pinch of ground black pepper
Dash of hot sauce
For the crispy cauliflower:
1 head cauliflower
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 large eggs + 1/4 cup water
1 cup breadcrumbs
Nonstick spray, for air fryer

Steps:

  • Make the blue cheese dip: Stir together ingredients in a medium bowl. Keep in fridge until needed.
  • Serve: Serve cauliflower immediately once all batches are done, or serve on a rolling basis as the batches come out of the fryer. Cauliflower is best right out of the fryer! Serve with the blue cheese dip as an appetizer or side dish.

Spicy Cauliflower Stir-Fry image

1 head cauliflower
2 teaspoons vegetable oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
Juice of 1 lime (or a splash of rice wine vinegar)
2 green onions, sliced
1 tablespoon sriracha or other hot sauce, plus more if needed
Lime wedges, for serving

Steps:

  • Break up the cauliflower into large florets, then use your hands to break into very small florets.
  • Heat a large, heavy skillet over medium-high to high heat. Add the oil, then the cauliflower and garlic. Stir the cauliflower around in the pan, allowing it to get very brown in some parts. Cook for 3 minutes, then turn the heat to low.
  • Add the soy sauce, lime juice and most of the green onions, reserving the rest for serving. Stir and allow to cook for 1 minute, then add the sriracha and stir until incorporated. Add a little more sriracha if you want a deeper color and flavor.
  • Serve hot in a bowl. Sprinkle the remaining green onions on top and serve with lime wedges.

This easy air fryer street style cauliflower is inspired by Mexican street corn with chili, lime, cream and cojita. Low carb + delicious!

1 head cauliflower (cut into florets)
3 tbsp olive oil
½ tsp salt
½ tsp chili powder
½ cup mayo
½ cup Mexican cream (or sour cream)
½ tsp lime juice
½ cup cilantro (chopped)
½ tsp ground chili powder
1 lime (sliced)
½ cup cojita cheese (or queso fresco)

Steps:

  • Cut the cauliflower into florets. In a large bowl toss the cauliflower florets with oil and seasoning.
  • Place in the air fryer basket. Set to 375°
  • Air fry for 15 minutes. Stir once or twice during the frying time.
  • Mix the mayonnaise, cream and lime juice together.
  • Remove cauliflower from the air fryer and place on the serving plate
  • Drizzle with the cream sauce, sprinkle with chili powder.
  • Squeeze a lime over the cauliflower and top with queso fresco or cotija cheese and cilantro.

1 tablespoon canola oil
1/2 cup Buffalo wing sauce
Blue cheese salad dressing

Steps:

  • Preheat air fryer to 400°. Toss cauliflower with oil. Place in a single layer on tray in air-fryer basket. Cook until tender and lightly browned, 15-20 minutes, stirring halfway through., Transfer to a serving bowl; toss with wing sauce. Serve with dressing.
