A little bit of lavender goes a long way, so be sure not to overdo it! This pretty combo screams summer, but you can also dry out the lavender and enjoy this anytime.

1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
3 fresh lavender sprigs or 1 tsp. dried culinary lavender
2 quarts water

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients in a large glass carafe or pitcher. Cover and refrigerate 12-24 hours.

Steps:

  • Place 8 ounces stemmed and thinly sliced strawberries and 1/2 thinly sliced English cucumber in a pitcher. For still infused water, add 2 quarts of water. For sparkling water, add 1 quart of seltzer during prep and a second quart just before serving. Refrigerate 2 to 4 hours to allow the ingredients to infuse. Stir well and strain, discarding the solids. For serving, add fresh strawberries and cucumber slices for garnish and plenty of ice. The infused water will keep refrigerated for up to 2 days.

8 c cold water (2 liters)
8 strawberries, small to medium size, washed well
5 sprig(s) fresh culinary lavender (*fresh*)

Steps:

  • 1. Pour the water into a pitcher or similar container. Toss in the strawberries (I left the stems on the strawberries for an additional boost of color) and the fresh lavender sprigs. I placed the lavender sprigs upside down into the pitcher.
  • 2. Chill for 1 hour to allow the ingredients to infuse. Serve over ice cubes.
