STRAWBERRY & CREAM BATH SALTS

Steps:

• Put the salt in a large glass mixing bowl, add the glycerin and mix well.
• Divide the mixture in two, to one part add food color until the desired shade is reached, mix very well, if you use liquid food color be careful that the mix doesn't get too wet, if necessary leave the color pink instead of red.
• Add the fragrance oil.
• In another bowl, add the vanilla fragrance to the other part and mix well.
• The fragrance amounts are not "to taste" but "to smell".
• Cover both bowls and leave to stand for an hour, and then mix again.
• Have some clean jars ready and fill them by alternating the layers, holding the jar at a slight angle, this way you get the layered sand effect Cover the lid with a piece of nice cotton or paper, tie with string or ribbon, and provide with a label Use 4 to 5 tablespoons per bath.

STRAWBERRY SALT SCRUB

Steps:

• Mix first three ingredients together, then mix in the salt and the baking soda.
• If you find it is too thin add some more salt.
• Add fragrance if using.
• The strawberries will loose their bright red color whilst you are mixing, they go more purple/grey.
• Transfer to a container, preferbly plastic.
• Use in bath or shower and make sure you are on a non-slip surface.

SCENTED BATH SALTS

Steps:

• Mix all ingredients in a large bowl.
• All ingredient amounts can be changed to suit your tastes.
• If the color or the scent is too strong, you can add more salts to even it out.
• Add a few Tbs to your next bath.

BERRY BATH SALTS

Steps:

• Combine all ingredients and store in airtight container.

STRAWBERRIES AND CREAM MILK BATH MIX

Steps:

• Add milk and salt in a large bowl; mix well.
• Scoop out about 1/2 cup and place in a small bowl.
• Sprinkle oil over the top of mix; stir well.
• Add oil mix back to the large bowl; mix well.
• Store in an airtight jar.
• Attach a gift tag with the following instructions: scoop out 1/4 cup and dissolve under running bath water.

PEACHES & CREAM BATH SALTS

Steps:

• Wash, rinse and dry canning jars. Empty one carton Epsom Salts into large mixing bowl or batter bowl. Add 3 cups sea salt, stir well. Stir in 1/4 teaspoon glycerin and 6 to 8 drops essential oil. Mix well. In second large mixing bowl, empty one carton Epsom Salts, and add 3 cups sea salt. Stir well. Add 1/4 teaspoon glycerin, 6 to 8 drops essential oil, and food color. Stir until completely blended. Color should be even. Use a heavy-duty stand mixer to mix bath salts easily. Set mixer to lowest setting and mix until color is even--but don't try this with hand mixers or smaller stand mixers! If you don't have one put in a large jar and shake...shake.....shake. Holding canning jars at an angle, layer salts in jars, alternating white and colored mixtures. Cut gift tags and attach to jars. Tags may be trimmed and placed beneath canning jar rings, tied on with ribbon, or taped to gift jars. Tip: Decorative canning jar lids or antique canning jars make these salts collectible! Peach lids add a designer touch to your jars and can be found in the canning section of the supermarket. This recipe makes 12 12-ounce gift jars, plus a bonus of 3 to 4 cups extra bath salts for you to keep for yourself. Package them in small plastic zipper craft bags for easy use in your own baths! Makes 12 gift jars.
