- Microwave 3 Tbsp. butter in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 45 sec. or until melted. Add 1 pkg. marshmallows; toss to coat. Microwave 1-1/2 min. or until marshmallows are completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring after 45 sec.
- Add 6 cups cereal; mix well. Press onto bottom of 8-inch round pan sprayed with cooking spray.
- Repeat in separate 8-inch round pan with remaining ingredients. Cool completely.
- Remove cereal mixtures from pans. Decorate with frosting and sprinkles as shown in photo.

CAKE BATTER RICE KRISPIES TREATS
Steps:
- Melt butter in a large saucepan over low heat and add marshmallows.
- Once melted, stir the cake mix slowly into the melted marshmallows until it is combined.
- In large bowl, combine the rice krispies and melted marshmallow mixture. (I just used a large pot for melting the marshmallows, removed from heat and added the rice krispies at this time and mixed together.)
- Add 1/2 of the sprinkles to the marshmallows and rice krispies while stirring.
- Spray a 9x13 with cooking spray and press it down into the dish.
- Sprinkle the remaining sprinkles on top.
- Wait about 30 minutes before cutting and I also sprayed the knife with cooking spray to help them cut easily!

- Spray a 11×7 baking pan with nonstick spray. Set aside.
- In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Add the marshmallows and stir constantly. Once the marshmallows are completely melted, stir in the dry cake mix. Remove pan from heat.
- Stir in the cereal until it is completely coated with the marshmallow mixture. Mix in half of the sprinkles. Press into prepared baking pan and top with the remaining sprinkles. When I press rice krispie treats into a pan, I use a spatula sprayed with nonstick spray, making it easier to press down. Press down lightly, as too much pressure will create hard rice krispie treats.
- Chill for at least 30 minutes and cut into squares. Squares stay fresh at room temperature for up to 1 week.

- Prepare a 13x9 pan by spraying lightly with cooking spray or buttering lightly. Set aside.
- In large saucepan over medium-low heat, combine butter and condensed milk and stir until butter is completely melted.
- Add marshmallows, once they begin to melt stir in cake mix.
- Stir well until marshmallows are completely melted.
- Reduce heat to very low and stir in vanilla extract.
- Stir in cereal and stir. Before mixture is completely mixed, remove pan from heat, scatter in sprinkles and stir until they are distributed through mixture.
- Spread into prepared pan.

- 1. Pour cereal into a large bowl and set aside. Spray a lasagna pan or 9 x 11 baking pan with cooking spray and set aside.
- 2. Place 1 stick of butter and the bag of marshmallows in a large bowl and microwave for 30 seconds. Stir and continue to microwave, stirring every 15 seconds until marshmallows are melted completely.tir in the cup of DRY cake mix and combine thoroughly.
- 3. Stir in the cup of DRY cake mix and combine thoroughly.
- 4. Pour butter/marshmallow/cake batter mixture over cereal and combine thoroughly.
- 5. Press into prepared pan with buttered hands and sprinkle generously with sprinkles and press them in just a little bit.
- 6. Cover with plastic wrap or wax paper. Allow to cool before cutting with a sharp knife.
- 7. The variations are endless with this one. I plan to make these with cocoa krispies, German chocolate cake mix and topped with toasted coconut for a grown up taste. You could use Fruity Pebbles and fruit marshmallows, Coco Pebbles with cherry chip cake mix for a black forest taste. Etc, etc, etc. I hope you enjoy these!

- For this recipe you will need 3-4 circular pans. I used two 9” spring form pans and one 6”x3” spring form pan. You do not need to have the spring form pans for this recipe. Any circular pan will work. You should be sure coat the pan with cooking spray and wrap the bottom with tin foil.
- In a medium saucepan, melt 3 oz butter with 1 package of strawberry marshmallows over medium heat. Stir until melted.
- In a separate, large bowl, pour melted marshmallows over 7 cups of Rice Krispie cereal. Gently spray your spatula with cooking spray (this will prevent it from sticking). Mix marshmallows to coat the cereal.

- First measure out the rice crispies in a large bowl with half of the sprinkles, and grease a 9 x 13 pan so you’ll be ready when the marshmallow mixture is done.
- Melt the butter and marshmallows just until melted on the stove top or in the microwave, but don’t over cook or they will get tough quickly.

- Prepare your pan with non-stick spray. I use a 9x5 pan because I like nice and thick treats but you can use a 13x9 also or whatever you have. Glass is best because they stick less and it's easier to clean.
- In a large saucepot on medium-high heat, add the butter and melt completely. I always use a wooden spoon when making rice krispie treats, they are nice and stiff and clean pretty easily.
- Once the butter is melted, add the marshmallows and stir constantly until they are fully melted and nice and creamy. Remove from heat immediatly.
- Add the cereal and some sprinkles (unless you are suing funfetti mix) and stir quickly to fully mix in. Dump the mixture into your prepared pan and push down with your spoon to spread it all out. At this point, I spray my hands with non-stick spray and push everything down with my hands to get it nice and compact (be careful because the mixture may still be hot!). Add more sprinkles right away to the top and lightly press in with your hands as well.
