Simple & delicious, this homemade Strawberry Butter will steal the show! Requires just 3 ingredients and only 5 minutes to make.

Number Of Ingredients 3

1/2 cup butter (1 cube, softened)
1/2 cup powdered sugar
3-4 strawberries

Steps:

  • Chop strawberries until very small. I ran mine through a mini food processor for several pulses and it worked perfectly.
  • In a separate bowl, blend together the softened butter and powdered sugar. Add about 3/4 of the mashed strawberries and mix to combine. Determine at that point if you'd like to add the remaining strawberries or if you're pleased with the consistency of the butter. I opted to not add the rest of mine- I liked that the butter was still somewhat thick.
  • Spread over bread, rolls, muffins or croissants. It's delightful on just about anything!
  • Store in a closed jar or container in the fridge. Recipe yields two 4-oz jars of strawberry butter.

1 cup confectioners' sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup fresh strawberries, pureed

Steps:

  • In a bowl, beat cream cheese and butter until smooth. Gradually add sugar and vanilla; mix well. Stir in strawberries. Cover tightly and refrigerate for several hours or overnight. May be stored in the refrigerator up to 1 week. Serve with English muffins, toast, waffles or pancakes.

  • Using an electric mixer, beat butter, sugar, and salt until light about 1 minute. Add strawberries and beat until combined, but not totally uniform.
  • Transfer to ramekins or small serving dishes. Chill until ready to serve, or transfer to 2 sheets of plastic wrap, roll each into log, and freeze up to 2 months. Thaw before using. Serve at room temperature.
