Strawberry, Apple, and Pear Spinach Salad with an Apple Cider Poppyseed Dressing image

Strawberry, Apple, and Pear Spinach Salad is an easy to make spinach salad with crisp apples, pears and strawberries hidden throughout. Topped with feta cheese, crunchy pecans and tossed in a delicious apple cider dressing!

Number Of Ingredients 11

4 cups spinach
1 cup strawberries (sliced)
1 apple (sliced (I used honey crisp))
1 pear (sliced)
1/2 cup apple cider
1 Tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
1 Tablespoon Honey
1 teaspoon poppyseeds
1/4 cup feta cheese
1/4 cup chopped pecans

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine spinach, strawberries, apple, and pear.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the apple cider, olive oil, honey and poppyseeds. Pour over salad and toss.
  • Top with feta cheese and chopped pecans.

1/3 cup olive oil
1/4 cup sugar
3 tablespoons white or balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
1 tablespoon poppy seeds
1 tablespoon chopped onion
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 package (9 ounces) fresh spinach, trimmed
4 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
1/4 cup chopped pecans, toasted

Steps:

  • Place the first eight ingredients in a jar with a tight-fitting lid; shake well. Refrigerate for 1 hour., Just before serving, combine the remaining ingredients in a large bowl. Shake dressing and drizzle over salad; toss to coat.
